What should the NI-MH 4.8v batteries meter out at?

I really thought I didn't like the hit with these batteries, but it turns out that with the right juice it's quite good (and will hold me til the VVs are ready)

Fresh off the charger they meter at 5.5. When the performance starts to decline they are at around 4.5. Is this about right for the range on them? I just want to make sure that I'm not over charging/discharging them too much.

As an aside, the cat briefly metered at 0.1v:laugh:

5.6-5.7 is what they come off my charger at, and I find myself swapping em out at around 4.7.

Yeah, that's what mine are coming off at. I thought it was charged at 5.5, but I was charging one singly and slid another into the charger. That triggered the first one to turn green, making me think it was fully charged. With the right juice these are a great vape. And to think I had them tucked away in a box all this time because I thought I didn't like them. I just didn't like them with the juice I tried them with before.

Ooo, you have one of those snazzy 2-bay jobs, I just have 2 of the slimline singles that only tell you when they're fully charged by the light on the wall plug. I keep waiting for one of them to die so I can justify getting that 2-bay.

edit: Agreed about the juice. I use mine with a 1.8v bridgeless (3 hole) atty, and with the right juice (fortunately all my DIYs seem to qualify) the vapor is hot and the flavor is flat out BUSTIN'.
