Hey, I got a "like" from Hypno:)! I've missed you around here, man...whatcha been up to? I posted a challenge for you earlier in the thread to play a couple songs (or musical experiences, if you're past songs now:p) by a rockin' LADY or two. I didn't give 'em enough of a chance 'til pretty recently, myself, but some chicks do know their way around a geetar;). Back before my stomach got wonky, this would suit certain weekends -

Howdy there BB!;)
I've been takin' care of three businesses, a band, and springtime dangerous fauna eradication...

How about you geetar-gal??? Is everything well in glitzy and glamorous el-lay?
A challenge? Hmmmm.... Wimmins that rock?
Lemme see what is in the vault here....

Oh, it's all champagne wishes and caviar dreams in my City of Angels, as usual. We DO also have some interesting fauna, ourselves, though:blink:. Just another perfect day...

"Look at that bum over there, man, he's down on his knees...", but some still like to play it as a straight up paean:unsure:...

Okay, we've established that even a few dainty lassies can wield an axe now and then (thank you, Crazy, for adding to that hard-sought evidence:laugh:). But do you no longer really bother yourself with fetching melodies, simple singer/songwriter songs, and some especially tasty pop confections if they do not display any of the virtuoso chops that you like to serve up? Is it sort of impossible to once you really play proficiently because such simple things are not what your ear is attuned to anymore? Whatever, no need to answer any of that. Hypno, you're in a real band? Or are you "'takin care of" someone else's band? Not %100 from what you said. I will cybergenuflect to you if you're in a band and you play gigs:2cool:!

Huh? Yer talkin' crazy, woman! (I had to throw that in just 'cause)
Chicks can play. Hell, I've been in bands with chick lead-geetars!
Folksy, or simple stuff ain't my bag...:p

Yeah BB, I'm in a band. It's a Pink Floyd tribute band. I told my friends that I would never be part of a "tribute" band...

Here's some old video. The big guy playing guitar has departed to persue his Allman Brothers tribute.
We've added another keyboardist and replaced the big guy.

Our first gig for Lone Star Floyd MkIV is mid-june...
