LOL I was one of those fools smashed up against the stage at The Basement. If you are into old school Pantera also check out Dead Horse. They were a Houston band that came up here to Big D quite often. Dimebag even wore some of their shirts in one of their videos (I think it was This Love). Used to chat with Vinnie quite often at Hooters in downtown Dallas back in the day too. he is a very cool guy and I feel so bad for his loss.

Seeing all the youtube vids made me want to watch the electric guitar rendition of Canon in D. Can't post links yet but just do a search on there for mattrach canon rock final (yes the lack of a space between the names is intentional).

I've heard many variations on Pachelbels Canon in D. This is another that successfully breaths new life into an always wonderful melody.
