LOL - shows to go me.
I wasn't sure if you were trying to bust my balls about Scorpions so I held my tongue type
Now you posted live DP and Aerosmith. Patience pays off and birds of a feather yada yada :thumb:
Here's what I posted yesterday afternoon

No, no busting on someone else unless they really know me. Actually, I bust on myself more. Especially now that my puny head knows that Scorpions come from the artic. Seeing as I live in Arizona, I now know that I don't need a floor in my tent.

Musically, a lot of popular music is/was simple...for peeps like me, it helps.

I didn't see the Jethro Tull on my phone. He was in the pre-disco phase and my afro. Yesss, yes I did...(sigh) Anyway, I had Thick as a Brick and To Old to Rock and Roll, to Young to Die on cassettes.

The old Rocker wore his hair too long,
wore his trouser cuffs too tight.
Unfashionable to the end --- drank his ale too light.
Death's head belt buckle --- yesterday's dreams ---
the transport caf' prophet of doom.
Ringing no change in his double-sewn seams
in his post-war-babe gloom.

Now he's too old to Rock'n'Roll but he's too young to die.

He once owned a Harley Davidson and a Triumph Bonneville.
Counted his friends in burned-out spark plugs
and prays that he always will.
But he's the last of the blue blood greaser boys
all of his mates are doing time:
married with three kids up by the ring road
sold their souls straight down the line.
And some of them own little sports cars
and meet at the tennis club do's.
For drinks on a Sunday --- work on Monday.
They've thrown away their blue suede shoes.

Now they're too old to Rock'n'Roll and they're too young to die.

So the old Rocker gets out his bike
to make a ton before he takes his leave.
Up on the A1 by Scotch Corner
just like it used to be.
And as he flies --- tears in his eyes ---
his wind-whipped words echo the final take
and he hits the trunk road doing around 120
with no room left to brake.

And he was too old to Rock'n'Roll but he was too young to die.
No, you're never too old to Rock'n'Roll if you're too young to die.

They're from Germany. I saw them at Firebird Lake outside of Phoenix in '85
They only played 5 places on Summer Sting 85 and Arizona had to be one of them.
Scorpions love Arizona

Arizona really was a gas
I was screwed up in a total mess
Mindblowing all the way, you know
Just out of sight
Some girl stopped me in the street at night
Ooh, what a knockout and she felt so right
Ooh, yeah she took my breath away
Just out of sight

Loved her in her car
Took me to the stars
Babe, we went nuts all the way
Loved her on the moon
Morning came too soon
She got me high and loose, loose, loose

Arizona really feels alright
Girls swing here and they treat you right
Have so many special ways, you know
And that´s alright
Was so hard to leave and say goodbye
I´d like to stay and have another try
Mindblowing all the way, you know
Just out of sight

Loved her in her car
Took me to the stars
Babe, we went nuts all the way
Loved her on the moon
Morning came too soon
She got me high and loose, loose, loose

Ooh, what a night
Such a good time
Out of sight
Yeah, what a night
