What strength e-juice do I need?

I smoked menthol lights for years. Now I've been smoking about 1/2 pack of Swisher Sweets lately. I want to place an order for an Ego but I don't know what strength of e-juice to get. I smoked about a 1/2 of analogs per day. 24mg or 16 mg. Also I was going to order a couple of 510 low resistance atomizers. Will these work with the Ego? Do I need to order some carts also? Man it doesn't take long to shoot a $100.00 bill all to pieces. I plan on ordering from Pure Smoker so how good is their e-juice?

take a deep breath and relax. start out slow.
i've only gotten 1 juice from pure smoker and it was ok. their price was good and service was excellent.
personally i would order 1 of each on the juice. give you a choice once it gets here. if your used to smoking swisher sweets i think you might want to go with the stronger juice to start with. but its hard to tell.
i'm sure my mailman thinks i'm dealing drugs or something by now with as many packages as i get in the mail. seems something is always being delivered. mainly juices tho. once you have made the initial purchase of your actual vaping device, the cost are very low. to date i have not spent as much on ecigs as i would have on analogs.
pick a couple flavors you think you might like and try em. i order the smallest size possible to try a flavor the first time. don't want big bottles of ulk sitting around. lol
again, this is all IMO.

dont know bout the equipment part casue i use the vapor king. and i am not sure about that company juice some companies use VG liquids and some use PG liquids the difference i have found between the two is the throat hit. and if u have been smoking menthols and swisher sweets u are gonna need a good throat hit to be satisified like me...

so first i would see if that company uses PG (more thorat hit) or VG (less throat hit) and also u are gonna want atleast 18mg nicotine if its PG

but swisher sweets give a big throat hit so u might want to use atleast 24mg.. hope that helps

As you have smoked menthol cigarettes it would probably be best you continue with menthol preparations.

Menthol cigarettes are more addictive than traditional, and smokers of menthol cigarettes also consume more nicotine per cigarette than a non-menthol smoker.

One reason for this is thought to be due to the anaesthetic properties of menthol on the throat and so smokers of menthol can tolerate a greater dose of nicotine (less irritation).

I would strongly recommend trying VG (Glycerol) preps as these are less irritating to the throat. You may not find you get as much of a "hit" but over time you should do as you adjust to them. Aim to begin with a heavier concentration of menthol preparation (eg Intellicig ECOpure Menthol- or similar) and try to lower to a lower concentration of Menthol (Intellicig ECOpure Fresh - or similar) this way you will rediscover the "throat hit" from smoking non menthol e-juice.

A liquid around 20mg/ml should be sufficient nicotine to satisfy your craving, but as Dmcafee said its best to order both and choose what you like.

Its worth shooting an email to the company you order off too to see if they will throw in some free samples of different flavours for you to try-may only be a cart or two, never know what you might get until you ask!

Well, I went from 1.5-2 packs of menthol lights to 6mg menthol e-juice. I know it's definitely not enough, but I'm also trying to kick the addiction in addition to smoking, so I purposely got such a low dosage. You would probably want to go with a mid-level, 11-16mg or so, but I could be wrong, I am no expert on the matter, I just know my own experiences

Hi backpacker. I started out with 18mg juice (Iwas a pack + a day smoker) and I still had cravings until I went to 24mg and the cravings went away completely. Everybody is different but I hope this helps you decide a starting point.
Wow, I haven't been backpackin' in years. Both of my packs and all my gear is just sittin' in the garage gettin' old....like me. LOL

I agree with going with 2 different strengths, I ordered both 18mg and 24mg at first and if I had not had the 24mg to satisfy my cravings I would have picked up more analogs for sure, now that my body is getting used to it, I am going to order a lower mg for next time as I am getting used to the gradual release of nic as apposed to the immediate release of the analog (hopefully that makes sense)

Mistinthewoods It's years for me too. I used to love going up around the Chattooga River or White Water Falls and pack in about 5 miles and stay several nights. As I've gotten older my knees just won't take it any more. I wish I'd take more pictures.
