Just picked it up from the local vape shop, guy called it an aero tank, but can't find it online. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Where can I find them with the metal tip, though? MtBakerVapor's Arnold Palmer cracked the plastic tip part on my Kanger T3S, so I'm trying to find these online so I can order more, as they were $15 at the local shop and I want to purchase a few more. ;)

This looks like a good seller on ebay, 100% good feedback. They are $10.99 with free shipping.

Good looking tank. Can't do the metal thing! Tactile intolerant to metal!

I didn't know what to call it, but I guess I am, too. I didn't know it until they sold me those tanks at the vape shop. I had not had much of anything metal in my mouth up to then. I can use them, but they sure aren't my favorites.:)

Damn, good looking out, Andria! Thanks for saving me money, and showing me where to find the version like the one I purchased today! I have put in request to cancel my order from Hoosier and have placed an order for 3 in black, blue, and stainless plus three replacement coils to tide me over until I figure out how to rebuild these babies. Definitely feel better now that I'm getting the V2's instead of the V1's. Metal tip looks way better on the V2, and less dildo-ish, haha.

heh... and I got the v1 for the streamlined shape, thinking that the v2 looked a lot like a magic marker! :D And I like having a tank that will hold 3.5ml, although I'm not terribly wild about the cold metal mouthpiece -- cold in the morning. last week I also acquired a mini protank 2, and I actually like the smaller size, but what I like most about it is the changeable driptip... I put a plastic tip on it, to make it feel better --

Actually I'm starting to discover cartos, and I really like how you don't have to fiddle with coils with those, so I think I'm heading next into carto-tanks, so I don't have to add drops to the silly lil thing every half hour... I'm a vapin' fiend... :vapor: But I'm really liking all this changing of driptips; it seems more hygienic to me, so you can keep them clean... they get a lot of condensation inside them, pop one off and pop another on!

BTW, if you have any T3S or MT3S tanks, the coils in those will fit in the AROs... but not vice-versa. Discount Vapers has *those* for $5.99. I'm a deal-prowling fiend, too. ;)

Andria

PS: discount vapers also has the coils for ALL the tanks mentioned above for $5.96/5-pk. I just got a 5-pk for all these T3S things I have, and their shipping is awesome; I ordered it 1st class, and it got from connecticutt to GA in 2 days! I was flabbergasted!

Awesome, thanks for all the great info! I don't mind the smaller size, I actually prefer it, and it's version 2 so maybe it's made a bit better even (not doubting the V1, just saying perhaps they found things to improve upon, then again maybe not). Anyway, I also just prefer the way it looks and I think I'll prefer it on my MVP whenever I get it (of course FastTech is taking forever!). I definitely love the look of it on my KangerTech EVOD battery, though. Since I only use about half of the tank on a T3S per day, I don't see being limited to 2ml an issue at all.

Yes, I do have some spare coils for my now-laid-to-rest T3S, so I'll be sure to hang onto those coils to use them in my Aros! The guy at the shop actually told me they wouldn't work, but I suspected they would, and he was just making a sale. I only purchased one there as a backup ($2.50 for ONE coil! Now you see why I shop online, haha). I ordered 3 replacement coils from MadVapes when I ordered the 3 Aros. I plan on rebuilding them on my own using the 100ft of 28g Kanthal wire I just purchased off of eBay for $8. Will use cotton as my wick. Man, this hobby is WAY cheaper than hookah! :p

That looks like a smok aro II to me.
Basicly a pyrex evod and a damn good tank. I like them a lot. Fairly airy draw, great flavor and can use an evod coil. I have several. They are my go to tank for out and about tanks on ego batts.

Work great and are inexpensive. Function great eith tank cracking juices. I keep cinnamon red hot juice in my red one, mt dew in a black one.

Seriously underrated clearo imho

And one hell of a lot cheaper than cigarettes!

I think you'll be pleased with the ARO II, it seemed to me that it was of a much better quality than the T3S type... When you screw the base onto a T3S, if you feel some resistance in the threads, it's almost always that the smaller rubber gasket on the base isn't laying flat, and it'll leak like mad if you don't fix it right then. When I screw the base on/off the ARO, I feel no resistance at all, just smooth sailing... very well-machined threads!! If they're that quality-conscious with the threads, probably the whole thing is of a much higher quality.

I was having some issues with leaking after I dry-burned the ARO coil, but it was the flavor wick -- I use a very thin PG juice... so I got some of that Peaches & Cream cotton yarn, and bang, no more leaking -- and a lot better taste, too. I just wish that steel tip wasn't so cold. I use a glass tank in the morning, because my early-morn zero-TH juice has a high cinnamon content... so now I use the Mini PT II, so I can start the day with a plastic driptip that isn't so cold. Guess I'll save the ARO for some other tank crackers, because first thing in the AM, it's coooooooooold! Feels like I'm sucking on an icecube!

Yeah, I'm loving this one so far, way better than the Kanger T3S tank I was using, and obviously better than the CE4's I had (man those things are crap!). Using the Aro 2 on my KangerTech EVOD battery right now, but will also use these on my MVP 2 when I get it in from China.

Local shop has Mtn Dew flavor... I gotta try that one soon! Right now, I'm vaping MBV's Arnold Palmer in my Aro. Awesome stuff!

I know what you mean about it seeming better quality! I feel like the Aro is just much better in construction and quality. It's having me doubt if I'll even use my Kanger Protank 2 when I get it in my order from China. May just resell it and use my two Aro 2 tanks, maybe even order some more. :O

I plan on rebuilding the Aro coils, so that shouldn't be a problem. I use mostly VG juice (80%). No issues yet. As for the cold metal tip, I love it! I dunno why, perhaps coming from the hookah background, sometimes cool vapor or using a cool/cold appliance is rather refreshing. :)
