I am brand new to vaping and decided to just get the provari mini. I've been using a vapor4life titan for a week and I just want to upgrade after getting sucked into all of this, i like gadgets.

So...I want the best. What tank system should I use?
Kanger Protank Pro Tank Glassomizer
ProTank Bottom Coil Glass Clearomizer

what else? Links would be very helpful...

Those tanks above have sorta boring drip tips, is there a bomb tank system with a nice looking tip?

Money isnt an option

Also, i want to make sure i'm buying everything I need at the onset. What am I missing?

- 2 batteries
- charger
- tank system
- e-liquid

Protanks and Evods are my choice. Haven't had any issues yet. Buy some extra coils when you get them and clean/replace them when it starts tasting burned or doesn't hit real well. They actually use the same coils which makes it very convenient.

Here's a link for some cheap coils.

Kanger eVod Coil replacements

If I 'm not allowed to post the link, Mods please delete. I have no affiliation with discount vapers.

If money isn't a consideration, you might try out the Vivi Nova, too. I use both, and can't quite decide which one is better. The ProTank is less prone to burning, and you don't have to tilt it to keep the wicks wet, but I find it usually leaks a little from the drip tip when you fill it and the stainless steel tip is a pain. Plastic feels better on the lips. I have no opinion on cartomizer tanks, since I've never tried them.
Note that if you're going to use certain types of liquid (for example, cinnamon or citrus), you will want tanks that won't corrode, such as glass or metal.
One more thing you missed is extra heads for your tank(s).
Hope this helps. :)

If you want to use ego threaded delivery devices you'll need a 510 to ego adapter.

Instead of glass bcc clearo's you might like carto tanks.
Made from glass/pyrex wide assortment sizes, drip tips, colors, designs, hand blown etc,, end caps come in all sorts of material & finishes,, able to match carto's to your preferences.

What kind of tank are you interested in? Clearomizers, Carto tanks, RBA'a, RDA's? If you're just looking for the best of the best gear, or perhaps the most expensive, anyway, at 150,000 pounds, this may be it, the wireless Tesla Backpack:

Tesla Pack - Wireless Atomizer/Cartomizer Power Supply

Let us know your tank type and we can get more specific. Also, the New Member Forum is probably not the place to find the best gear money can buy. Maybe the Modder forum, or something. Good luck to you and welcome to the Forum.

If you like the Protanks (and that does sound like a great choice), then check around for info on the Protank 2. It will be out later this month, and it improves on the original Protank in a number of ways... including being able to use your own drip tip.

ETA: Here it is - Kanger Protank-2 clearomizer – KangerTech

There is no "best" tank for everyone. You have to figure out what is best for your needs/wants.
That being said, the most popular types have to be (in no particular order)

Vision Vivi nova/mini nova

Kanger protank

Evod (has ego threading, you'd need an adapter for a provari)

Cartomizer tank (dc tank)

I've tried all except the evod. Personally, I love the vivi novas after rewicking with cotton yarn.

I like this guy / gals style. I was and am a tobacco smoker since 16. Now 37. Getting out of tobacco because of health / family and just many other reasons.
I just got into vaping. I tried the Blu and then the Njoy king menthol. Loved the Njoy. I am after surfing the webs countless high ad pages and reading as many as I can forum pages till my eyes fall out of the sockets here going to order the Halo G6 complete kit and the provari complete kit.
money isn't an option but I can only post here for now. I need some advise like I really like the Kangertech juice holders. Could I use a mini kangertech on the g6? also what is the easiest tank to maintain, with longest lasting dependability?

For a Mini Provari, I recommend 4 batteries at a minimum to be be used in rotation. The red Aw 18350 IMR's I use are rated at 700 mAh, but if you use any voltage range higher than 4.2 volts you will get less than 7 hours use on one battery on average. http://www.rtdvapor.com/online-store/batteries/aw-imr-18350-3-7v-55-detail

I recommend the Nitecore i4 Intellicharger so that you are able to charge more than 2 batteries at a time. http://www.rtdvapor.com/online-store/battery-chargers/nitecore-intellicharger-i4-detail

An alternative would be the Xtar WP6 Battery Chargers : Xtar WP6 II You will need additional spacers to fit multiple 18350 batteries simultaneously if you choose this charger. Battery Chargers : XTAR Charger Spacers I have this charger and in hindsight I wish that I had gotten the Nitecore version because the coiled springs in the battery slots are flimsy and the 18350 button top batteries are just a tad too long to stay in place even with the correct spacers (I have to lay something on top of the battery to keep them from popping out).
_________

My preference for juice delivery devices are pyrex cartotanks such as the IBTanked IBTanked - Get Tanked With Us!. If you've not used a cartotank before, they have a slightly higher learning curve and take a few more minutes to set up than a clearomizer or clearotank will. But I have found that they allow for more flavor production than the string-wicked devices. For a Mini Provari I recommend the 19mm diameter XL length IBTanked, or if you prefer higher juice capacity go with the 22mm diameter and get a Provari Pro Ring http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/provari/383572-provari-pro-rings.html

I've done an extensive review of the IBTanks here: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/blogs/baditude/3318-3-ibtanked-pyrex-glass-tanks-review.html

I've done a cartotank setup guide here: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/blogs/baditude/3710-5-cartomizer-tank-setup.html

IBTanked-MiniProvari.jpg 19mm IBTanked

22mm IBTanked with beauty ring.

Only the cartomizer in a cartotank need be replaced periodically, and can be expected to last for about 15 - 30 ml of juice. The tank itself can be refilled multiple times. Once the draw becomes stiff or flavor production degrades, replace that carto with a new one. Pre-punched cartomizers are pretty cheap - about $2 each. Just be sure to get the correct length of cartomizer for the length of tank you have. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/blogs/baditude/3295-2-sample-list-vendors-selling-pre-punched-single-coil-cartomizers-cartotanks.html

A Kanger ProTank is a clearomizer tank that also uses a pyrex glass tube. If you go the clearomizer route it would be my first choice. It would be a little easier to use (easier fill method) than a cartotank for a beginner. The inner head is replacable to prolong the usefulness of the main tank. I have found these to give adequate flavor production, but not on par with a cartotank.

I've not tried the Kanger Evod clearomizer because to use on a Provari (510 thread) you need an adaptor (510-ego thread). I've tried the Vision Vivi Nova; it is top coil/bottom fed, meaning it gives a warmer vape (I prefer cooler like the bottom coil clearos) and because it is a top fed wick requires frequent tilting to keep the wicks wet to prevent dry hits. I also prefer the looks of the Kanger ProTank on my PV's.

I would recomennd:

Kanger Evod
Kanger ProTank
Vision Vivi Nova

I use the Evods (holds ~1.5 ml) for plastic-safe ejuice that I like, but can't vape all day.
I use the ProTank for ejuice that is known to crack plastic tanks.
I use the Vivi Nova for my all day vape for plastic-safe ejuice.

Make sure you order from a Kanger and Vision approved vendor. I've seen problems with knock-offs of all three of these.

Vivi Nova
The vivi nova is the easiest to refill and least messy to refill. I have had no problems with it leaking or dry hitting. That said, I have not had my nova very long. So far, it vapes very well and it has a removable/changeable drip tip, so you can find one that is comfortable for you.

Evod/ProTank
Both also vape very well, a little better than the vivi nova IMO. Refilling these is a little more messy than the nova because they fill from the same end (bottom) the atomizer screws into. I love the Protank's performance, but am not crazy about the tip. I don't mind stainless steel (I use a SS tip on my nova), but I do not like the shape. The tip is the only flaw in the ProTank IMO.

People say the atomizers are the same/interchangeable. IMO, this is only partially true. There are Evod atomizers and Protank atomizers. Both are similar and both fit/work in either the Protank or Evod. The difference between the two is the length of the atomizer neck. The ProTank atomizers have a longer neck. I have had leaking problems using Evod atomizers (with the shorter neck) in Protanks. Protank atomizers work perfectly in evods though, so when ordering new atomizers, I only buy ProTank atomizers.

I hate to ask this, but is there a dictionary for all the vaping terms? I have actually looked at quite a few sites and the basic words are defined, but I don't know what evod, ego, beauty ring, and some other terms mean.
Also all the threads are complex. Not forum threads, but threads on all the millions of devices.
This may sound stupid, but being a tobacco smoker with nicotine needs I have to ask...
Can I use like a Njoy cartridge with like a Halo G6? How about a Blu with a Halo G6? How about a Njoy or Blu with a Provari?
I ask this because I sometimes am required to travel on a whim. Meaning I show up to work and I leave from right there with everything I have in my pockets to the airport, no packing (have a bag packed with clothes at work at all times) and must leave. I ask about these brands because they are available at almost all major retailers.

I know I ask a lot, but I am a noobie, and in return I will assist others and guide them too to the right path of vaping.

You really are starting from scratch. I would HIGHLY suggested you peruse the New Members Information subforum ...it will answer a lot of your questions.

E-cigarettes and their use (called "vaping", and not smoking) is a whole other world of technology, vocabulary, and terminology. The "Info Zone" button at the top of this page is a good starting place to learn. Here's another link: Learning Center Some helpful pages on various topics.

Here's a beginner's picture dictionary of the more common juice delivery devices to fit on your battery device: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/blogs/baditude/3230-1-proper-terminology-carto-tank-what-primer-juice-delivery-attachments.html

Thanks so much man this is exactly what i needed to make a decision and lays out everything you need very nicely. I am going to go with a cartotank system. i bought one that connects to my vapor titan and it is very nice hit. i am upgrading to the provari for battery life etc..
