I run the Aspire BVC coils, 1.8 Ω, if you try them you'll want to turn the watts down to about 7-8. They are all I use in Subtank mini's :)

EEEEEnaud — You are so brilliant. I have a bunch of the nautilus coils that I was using with my Aspire Vivi Novas way back when. I tried the coil in my STM and oh my so much better tasting. Thanks for sharing this.

You are absolutely correct — good catch, thank you. I do have a few (not many) of the PT2 coils so will try these too. So far though the Aspire BVC coils are working like a gem at 7.5W. Couldn’t believe they fit in the STM.
Them little BVC coils absolutely rock in the STM  You can thank Twisted 420 for this hack

The PT2 coils with the STM and bell caps are really good! The stem of the coil engages the chimney with plenty of gap to use a needle tip bottle to completely fill the tank. I'm getting about 5 mls into them with this method, which will last me the better part of the day.
