I think all of my batts are possessed!! All at once yesterday they won't charge for more than a few minutes, and some won't even change the light red. I keep them clean and my charger as well. I've adjusted the posts and it doesn't help...:( Am I SOL or is there something I'm missing? Maybe they are revolting against my constant use, haha!

No such luck, but worth a try incantius, thanks. It just seems weird. I could understand if I was talking about 1 or 2 batts here, but I have 8 that all of a sudden wont do squat but charge for maybe 1 min max. Its long enough for me to take a couple drags off and then it blinks. I did however find a stealth that is working right now, so we will see what happens when it runs down.

Ms. Jbags how old exactly are these batts, how often do you charge them, do you leave them on the charger for an extended period, and last but not least do you deep cycle them?

I rotate between the batts, so they get charged when they start to die. I charge them when i notice a drop most of the time, sometimes i don't notice until it blinks. I usually leave them on the charger until the light turns green, usually aournd 2-3 hours. Sometimes I will leave it on overnight, which is about 7-8 hours.

If it's the charger that affected their circuitry Ms. Jbags then the only way to figure it out is charge one of your mom's batts on there (possibly killing her's)... Any idea on how many charges they've gone through? Have they been exposed to high heat by any chance? How long between rotation uses (as in is the battery sitting for a full week at maximum charge)?

I think the longest they have been sitting between charges is 2 days. Honestly, I have no idea how many charges they have gone through, the older ones more than the newer obviously. Im not the master record keeper that you are Morandir, but right about now I'm wishing that I was. I will try charging one of her batts on mine...hope she doesn't kill me, lol. I sure don't want to have to buy all new batts and a new charger, but that's looking like the only thing left for me to do. :censored:

Haha, thanks Morandir. I am ordering 4 new batts and 2 slim chargers, hope they get here quick. I guess I will just toss the old wall charger out...:( May it rest in peace along with my batts.
maybe we should say a few words for the dearly departed???
The Preacher said:
Today we gather to mourn the loss of the dearly loved batts & charger, may they rest in peace as they go forth into the Great Beyond. As they shed their horizontal coils, we bid them a fond farewell. Alas they died too young...
