Hmmmm....Welp, I just had a look at the one that is still leaking. The lil wick is very very short at the top on one side. I am thinking that may be the problem. Now what? I still don't have the stuff to redo it. I am not sure I wanna break it down. Maybe I should just send that one back. If the batteries turn out to be OK...I may just rebuild that one. I am tryin to wait for a sale on DIY Liquids and parts, then buy stuff I want all in one whack!! I have my eye on 2 companies right now. I missed the sales last month....DANG IT ALL! Don't ya just hate that?!

Time to go cook. I'll check back later on to see what new things have been said and keep you all up to date on my fumblin.

I think you'll be surprised how uncomplicated these T3s are. The first time I went in to rewick one I was scared. As soon as you wiggle off the top tube though you will see that's it's just two little wick sitting on a coil with a bigger with inside the coil. A pair of tweezers and a pin/needle to adjust the coils is all I needed and now I am confident I can rewick and fiddle around without worry. I rewick with cotton for what it's worth and the tiny dripping into the battery compartment still happens after sitting (as I would expect) but the actual vape is stellar compared to the stock wicks. Better flavor too IMO.

No sense trying to send the Kanger back. Most vendors only offer DOA warranty. If it works when received, it's yours. Wick assembly is replaceable(base). Just order a few spares. then you can rebuild at your leisure while still using the units.

My T3s leak a LOT less after replacing the wicks with cotton. You want to have just enough cotton to fill the hole with the stem put back on, but not enough to choke it. I usually do a smallish wick inside the coil and another small wick on top of the coil, like the factory setup.

Also, make sure you let it sit for at least 15 minutes or so after you fill it with juice so the cotton has enough time to get a good soaking, otherwise you'll get very nasty tasting and/or burnt hits until the wick is saturated.

First off, I like my T3s but I would never recommend them to someone who is not willing or able to adjust the wicks or perform a re-wick. By design they are very likely to flood and leak, simply because their tiny wicks are always submerged (bottom coil). Something like a T2 or Vivi Nova are top coils, and while they require some tipping and twirling to ensure wick saturation, they seem to leak and flood a whole lot less.

The first thing you should do is take some tweezers and very carefully pull on the wick that is not protruding far enough. You want them to stick out evenly on both sides, all three of them. If this doesn't help, remove one of the small wicks that lay over the coil after pulling off the center post with the silicone seal cup on it.

Also, never keep them standing straight up on the battery, gravity will work hard to cause a mess. Lay them down or invert them if sitting for any period of time. When I notice a flood, I grab the mouthpiece with a paper towel and thermometer shake them downward to clear it out.

If none of this helps, try rewicking with cotton. There are plenty of tutorials out there and personally I recommend boiled white cotton yarn. I haven't had much luck with the stock silica wicks, so all of my clearomizers have cotton in them.

P.S. If your husband vapes as infrequently as you say, I highly recommend LR single coil cartomizers. One fill should easily last a day or more.

Cheese Cloth, Cotton yarn (as in the kind you knitt with), Cotton Balls!!! Just boil it?? Really?? I have that crap all over the house. Well then, I just need some of that wire.

Also, I am gonna get a few T2's or Vivi Nova's just incase. Oh! What exactly is a Stardust? Does it go by another name? I saw it some where but now I can't find it. That was the one I wanted to start with, but didn't see it on the order site. It seemed better in the ratings.

Still waiting to see if the Batteries are gonna hold their charge. Hubby was not able to vape as much.....wait....maybe he did while we were trouble shooting. (After he got back from pickin up his father from the hospital.) Are there any batteries out there that leaks can't get to. I could deal with them a bit better, rebuilds and all, IF I didn't have to worry about it KILLIN the battery. I GENTLY tweezed the real problem child. As of right now, the leaking has come to a slow crawl. So far, So good!

Vision spinners and all ego style batteries are sealed top, juice will not get into anything that will kill the battery.
Using VV batts I'd stick with SR carto's.
If you decide to buy the vivi's make sure you get the Vision vi vi nova's.
Stardust is one of the many names for a CE4 clearo.

A 1300 mah battery should last quite a while between recharges, if it isn't lasting at least 9.5 ~ 12 hours between charges you may have a charger or battery issue.

I saved those 2 cotton install thingies to my desk-top. You guys are better than youtube!! I watched a few rebuilds there but they talked either too much or too little, cut to something else and left me scratchin my head. I know, I know, I could pause the thing....but If I didn't get it the 1st 5 times =watchin and listening to it....do ya really think I am gonna get it on the 6th. Well, I would get it now. Nice clear pictures with great instructions. I should have just stayed here and left youtube alone. I, like a DUMMY, thought that it would be easier to listen to what others had to say and opt for something that was popular. Not that it was a bad idea.....the thing didn't come with ANY instruction. NO does and don't, just a plain cardboard box with bubble wrap on every thing.

Is there an instruction or trouble shooting STICKY in here somewhere? Like, if you have this one...this is what the blinking lights mean, or
if it is "doing this" try 'this or this' to fix it? I did see a forum about gear and such...but is information OVERLOAD!! I was more confused after readin for 3hrs that I was before I ever clicked on the link.

Just keep the spinner down below 3.8 volts. They will eat your battery faster than a SR carto given the same voltage, but the LR will perform better at this voltage, provided it is not so high that your juice or wick/filler burns. For me to get a good vape from a SR carto, I need to crank up my volts to 4.5 or more. This isn't really a problem until I want to use a regular ego with fixed voltage, which is around 3.3 to 3.7 volts. The LR will do just fine while the SR will be seriously lacking.

In summary, LR with low volts and SR with high volts will be on par for battery drain. It's all about the wattage. And by performance, I mean vapor, throat hit, and flavor. For instance, I bet your standard T3 coils are working best at 4.2 or 4.3 volts

Thank you for clearing up the Stardust name issue. Now I get the "I love the CE4's!" and some where else "OH! I love the Stardust!" They are the SAME DANG THANG!!!! GOT IT! Can't hurt to have a few dif Vape options down the road.

Will keep LR in mind. Hubby is vaping slow right now because he does not really like the flavors, only have 2. Have not found one that he loves yet. Like a said earlier.....When my go-to shops have a sale.....I am gonna stock up!! one of them will have to have something he will like. I can always add something fruity to the ones he doesn't so it's a WIN-WIN either way.

Yup, with cotton you just want to make sure it's 100% cotton, and the cotton balls... I never boil them, probably should, but I'm lazy and impatient make sure with cotton that you make the wick thinner when twisted than the space you're trying to fill, it expands like crazy. Also, you can re-wick without replacing the coil, just be careful as you're pulling out the old wick so you don't disfigure the coil.

OOoooooooo....Nice chart...I stole it!! Hope you no mind. HEHEHE!! Headin to Home Depot for find me a meter in the morning. Hardwear stores are the only place hubby can find me quickly if I wander off....I am in the tool section!!!! Same way he finds me if we are in Sears. LOL Although, sometimes I wish I were a dainty lil flower instead of a hard ars. I guess it's all in how you were raised. He has actually told me that I could prob have made his old DI from boot camp cry if I had torn into him. Makes me so proud!!! I might even shed a tear...NAh!! Is a waste of good water.

AH HA!!!!! Got it!! This has turned out to be a pretty productive day. I have done most of the laundry(8 loads), only have 1 flight of stairs for that now instead of 2. I cooked dinner, cleaned a little, did the dishes, walked the dogs and yelled at me Father-in-law for tryin to eat Crap that just put him in the hospital on Saturdday. You would think that in the 4 1/2 days he was there he would have had time to re-think his eating habbits!! AND...typed my fingers off, screwed and un-screwed atties, swabbed them and the batteries. LOL Once I got over being p---ed off...this has been pretty fun.

Personally I love my spinner and have nothing but, great things to say about it. Got me into the early evening with heavy vaping.

I had issues with my t3s though. All 3. Even after rebuilds. Initially leaking heavily then only Gurgles after rebuilds. I then purchased EVODs on a whim and haven't looked back. Simple to rebuild and cheap if choose not to.

My ProTanks and EVODs are all I use really.

I offer suggestions on fixing things but, there are plenty already. Make sure the wicks are aligned and there aren't any voids in the openings. Removing the top post if necessary to align.
