What thread is that at the bottom of the kayfun 3.1?
It's smaller than my M21x1 tubes, so I am guessing it's M20x1.
Can anybody confirm?
My M21x1 tubes are vamo, sigelei and chiyou; the kayfun thread is smaller than those.
Seems to me I should be able to run the kayfun in hybrid mode if I had the right mod or thread adapter.

Just finished giving it a rinse in hot water, and it's out in pieces left to dry.

It's got a prebuilt coil;

by the way it came in a kinda pink mostly box with 6 tickboxes on the side to identify which item it was.
The 6 tick boxes are labelled
kay fun 3.1
kay fun 3.0
kay fun lite

RUSSIAN 91%
tai fun
kay fun lite v2

No indication of the manufacturer.
No logos anywhere.

It's got 2 silica wicks on 1 coil; not sure how the wicks ran before I took the tube piece off; sorry I did that now;
it's also got 2 balls of what might be silica or maybe it's ceramic wicking material that was down in that tube with the coil before I took that tube off.

Not sure if to try to run just the thin wick through the channels or the bigger wick, or ... well doesn't look like both would fit but I might try that.

My chimney seems to be too short; or else the base chimney cylinder is not long enough.

The top of the chimney does not reach the black rubber grommet in the top cap so if I turn the kayfun upside down all the liquid drains out.

If I take out the chimney I can push it through the rubber grommet and get it to go a long way up towards the drip tip which makes sense that that is how it is supposed to be. If the chimney was too long I could file it or cut it, but it's too short.

So far the only workaround has been too untread the chimney up off the chimney base about 3 mm, so that it would make some contact with the rubber grommet above it when I screw to top cap on.

My kayfun resembles this one:

Left to right:
tank
ring for tank (one for below tank one for above tank)
ring for tank (one for below tank one for above tank)
topcap
drip tip
base of chimney
chimney with rubber grommet
atomizer part with 510 thread removeable base attached and screwin center pin.

I'm also getting a taste which I'm thinking is machine oil; probably in the positive center pin insulator area;

I'd given the tank a rinse yesterday in hot water and soaked it a little while with some liquid soap but looks like I might have to see if that positive post and insulator comes apart and put it to soak again.
