never tried the dual coil builds before so maybe this could be a reason for excessive heat, or maybe different genny sized chambers, but all I can say is that when I vaped ss mesh I vaped all 4 of my mods at low resistances, at least 3 of them were set-up under 1-ohm and 1 at the 1.2 range, all with 28g and 500 mesh, and non of them had any noticeable heat to the drip tip or to the outside of the chamber, in fact I always felt that with 28g the overall device was just as cool as a coil at higher resistances. the only time I used to get excessive heat was initially after a set-up when the coil was not right and had hotspots. now this was just my experiences with my specific devices and my specific drip tips, and in no way saying that your coils aren't right but imo a 28g coil at resistances at or above 0.8 shouldn't be so hot that its uncomfortable to your lips. now I have to say I never used a super t drip tip either, are they really really short tips?

Naw they're normal length, and it's not just my super T's. My current coils are at .4-.6 ohms though, so there is a lot of power running through them.

The only one I can deal with is my bully tip, but the o-ring on it is so loose it's impractical to bring it out anywheres.

Super T Mfg. has delrin tips, does delrin transfer heat like metal does? I would guess not, but I may be wrong.

Not my pic, but I picked up this for my Nimbus. Dual coils of 30awg kanthal @ 0.7 ohms.

Delrin bottom & SS top. Wide mouth, you can drip directly into it. And it does not get hot.
