I bought a Vapor King set form electronic cigarettes Inc. Its was awesome for a month then I started getting battery problems. Two batteries later, ( the have replaced them both times) I'm ready to move on. I have both an auto and manual battery. Both seem to have very short battery life. I ran across what seems to be a pretty darn good deal here:
joy 510 no box
from cignot. basically two batteries, attys, charger and some carts.
basically a joy 510 set for less than half cost of what Ive spent on the vapor kings.

Can anyone suggest a good deal on a good unit(s)? I appreciate it! I've done a ton of research and I'm seriously considering ordering the 510 set this evening........

Geoff over at tasty Vapor has earned my business for life with his atomic. Tonight I'm ordering a bottle of that along with the butter rum, has anyone tried the butter rum that can give their impression of it? I talked to Geoff and ordered a bottle of his tobacco. He told me it was pretty much a hit or miss flavor, you either hate it or love it, I hate it :( lol .

Thanks in advance for the help! I'm so tired of the very short battery life on these vapor kings, it's driving me INSANE!

Got my original 510 from Cignot. Excellent service.
When they were out of stock, got my second set from Mike and Carols.
Pricing is very close, 35-38 dollars. Both offer excellent customer service and I'm happy with the 510.
But odds are some folks will tell you here 510 battery life isn't perfect either. You may want to have a pass through or personal charger case as well. JMHO.

I like his tobacco. When I started out I'm glad I cancelled my order with electronic cigaretts. Check out the suppliers on the forum before you buy anything else. I went with a 901 style because it fit my KR8 batteries. V4L warranties their stuff but batteries in general are hit or miss as far as life expectancy, but some suppliers have better turn over than others. Comes down to price too. I heard The 510 can now be fitted with new 510 cartomizers which sounds promising.

510 is the best of the small, analog type PV's. It's biggest drawback is the short battery life (1 hour - 1 & 1/2 hour). I would suggest getting one of the bigger battery PV's as the next step. Batteries that last 5-8 hours on a charge and cost $2.50 each instead of $12-$15 each. Here is a list that should be helpful:

get a passthrough.. if you are where you can not plug in the passthrough a lot.. get the 510 kit there batteries are not that great either but 4 bats and a passthrough will get you through the day..

after you get the passthrough you might see the time your batteries last seems longer.. mine used to die out fast after i got the passthrough and was leaving my bats on the charger for 8 hours the time they worked for went up a lot..

Pass through has saved my ... more than once. The battery in the PT works long after I disconnect the device from the USB.
I got a USB adapter at a local store for a few bucks for the car. Already had an AC/USB adapter so I can plug the pass through in anywhere there's power. With two batts and a PT, I think you're good to go.

If you're looking at a 510, I'd suggest passing that and just getting a TW Tornado or Janty eGo. They both use 510 attys and carts. But the big battery and atty cover cone are like an injection of steroids for the 510.

I really wish I would have just bought this in the first place. I sold all my 510 batts (about 10) and a 10 site charger to a buddy that uses the 510. Once he saw my Tornado he said he's getting one on payday.

In fairness to shatner, I have heard that "If I'd only known..." about the eGo more than once, especially from my revered "mentor" here at ECF.
But, my caveat is that if you have limited funds, the 510 is the way to go. You can have a decent vaping experience with a single 510 kit, some juice and a passthrough.

This is true. But if you do have the extra money and can spend it, don't even think. Just get the Tornado/eGo.

"No box" simply means that there is no advertisement type display box. It is in a plain generic-looking box without the added cost of "rebranding".

I've not had very much luck with the type of PT's that have an inline battery. They rely on a battery (that must be recharged) to provide the required amperage to operate the atomizer, that's why it works on a low-Amp device like a computer USB port or 0.5 Amp wall-adapter.

Here's my suggestion for a passthrough:

Get one without the inline battery, and a thick, heavy cord like this one, for example.

Power it with a USB adapter that puts out 5V @ 2 Amps, like this one, for example.

In the long run you will save money because of the cost of the batteries on the mods being 400% cheaper and last 10 times longer.
