That's at just under half an ohm. If you use, say... a TFV4 with the .25 ohm coil you come in at 38.6A. Even at 125W it's still 23A. The chips in mods are supposed to cut off at wattages that high when the voltage gets that low, but what if the chip malfunctions?

Does everyone vape @ 125 watts ?

The resistance is irrelevant on a regulated mod.
Yes it does. The chip doesn't know the difference between a 20A battery and a 30A battery, it just knows the charge level left on it. If the mod specifies a 30A battery and you put a 20A battery in it, it will still try to pull more than 20A out of it if you set it to do so.

I've been running a 0.08 ohm at 100w. Never felt my hg2s get warm and I check then often.
In what mod. I can only think of 2 or 3 that will fire that low in wattage mode, and they all say in the specs that you need to use a 30A battery.

build many diy mods mostly dual batterys which I leave in the mod first used a build in charger . later ones using a sharge plug with an external charger .
the other is a series battery and buck converter simple and cheep to build but had to use a 3pin connector and use a balanced external charger . now put modding on hold for a while ..the chips cost you 20 more than the complete mod ! got 2 evic vtc s amazed how they vape w one battery charge nice with usb port . then also got a wismec reuleaux in case I want to try tc and might have to run higher power or have a long battery life ...on that I would not even dream of charging 3 batts in series !!
using a nitecore 4 bay charger . I d rather take the batterys out much safer .
on the other hand I vape at 18 to 20 watts so not much heating up exept the atty lol.
so be more intelligent then your intelligent charger and stick around while charging !!!

In the releaux dna200. And my chip does know the difference because I set my settings in escribe. :)

I know I'd prefer a tank to a dripper. I'm guessing a box mod is what I need? I am a complete noob to this. I definitely want something with a good amount of battery life.
Wismec Rouleux RX200 and a TFV4 full size... Get 3x LG HG2 Batteries wait until you've found which coils you like before you order more.

Damn a lot of activity on this website lol. Thanks everyone for your input!! How do I build the atomizer with the cotton and wire. And what do the different wire sizes do?

    ^^ Proof that you're not ready for a Rouleux or a TFV4.

DON'T get in over your head man, it will ruin it for you!

As if this is some type of complex topic that will take me months of studying to understand...No, it's not. I began research last night and am almost ready to order. By tomorrow I will know how to build and everything will be great. Worse comes to worse and I'll drive to the vape shop where they will fix everything and teach me.

    Not ready...lol.
