Damn a lot of activity on this website lol. Thanks everyone for your input!! How do I build the atomizer with the cotton and wire. And what do the different wire sizes do?

We have a thread on the Griffin in the rta area. I'm sure there are also many youtube videos from reviewers showing how they built it.

thanks sparkky
jes I fall in love with evic miny and at 38.00 a piece ..its worth having 2 . they vape as good as my duel battery sx 350 which I still love so . the screen is very nice and easy to read ..charging of the usb is fast to . also vapes while charging like a passthrough . have not and probably will not use it at 75 watts or tc either ..happy at 18 watts and single coil aromamizer k a1 around 1.5 ohms . but I am in the minority .
batterys ..well if you buy a 30 amp that does not mean it is.to many horror stories . rewrapping ectr
have fun

In the releaux dna200.
I stand corrected. The DNA's do let you do that. The RX that everybody is trying to talk the OP into doesn't. Unless I missed something when I read up on it. I would probably trust a DNA chip to know the difference. But a $40 mod, nope. Again, just my personal choice for a safety standard. But I feel somewhat obligated to share the info about battery safety with the inexperienced vaper that's about to jump head first into the deep end of the pool. HG2's and VTC4's cost the same and if he ends up with the TFV4 running at 100W+. the difference in runtime between charges will be less than an hour. Small sacrifice to me.

I kinda meant this part -
using a 4 bay charger . I d rather take the batterys out much safer .
on the other hand I vape at 18 to 20 watts so not much heating up exept the atty lol.
so be more intelligent then your intelligent charger and stick around while charging !!!
Cheap insurance -http://www.xtardirect.com/collections/chargers/products/vc2-plus-master-charger

^^ Proof that you're not ready for a Rouleux or a TFV4.

DON'T get in over your head man, it will ruin it for you!
I agree with this, one of the reasons why I asked if he/she were comfortable rebuilding wick/wire. Go ahead and buy what you have on the list, but please watch some videos and be careful, do your research. If you have any questions come back and see us.

In regard to the earlier discussion about the Wismec DNA200, are you guys nuts?! Many people know I'm a big fan of that chip... but come on guys, I would NEVER recommend a DNA 200 to anyone just coming into vaping.

Hell, in some cases I wouldn't recommend the chip at all! It's a very niche market, unless you like to tinker and enjoy playing with settings and being tethered to a PC I don't recommended it. Yes it (can be) a great vape, yes many people enjoy it over an RX200, NO I would recommend that to anyone just starting out!

Anyways guys, I made a few orders last night.
  1. Batteries: LG Brown HG2 INR18650 3000mah 18650 Battery (pair) - 101 Vape
  2. Tank: Griffin RTA by Geek Vape - READ DESCRIPTION.
  3. Wismec Reuleaux RX200 TC - $36.49
Total: $120

My mom has a 6-bay charger that can charge the 18650s. She also has a few different gauged wire coils. When I get my stuff I'm going to take it all directly to the vape shop down the street and have them teach me the proper way to build it. While doing that, I will take note of the tools they use, and then buy those on the spot.

Thanks so much for helping me out. I've read every single post here. Some multiple times. However, due to the massive response, I could not respond to each one of you individually. But just know I appreciate ALL of your support. I will likely remain a member of this site and eventually make some contributions of my own once I am more knowledgeable and experienced.

Oh, one more thing. If anyone would like to share some information about vape juice, I'm all ears. I know nothing about it aside from you can taste some at the vape shop and purchase bottles for absurd prices. Eventually I'll probably make my own juice, but for now, anyone got good websites to order from? Maybe even some flavor suggestions. I remember trying something that was called sour skittles I think? That was BOMB!

What the ....? Why did you just link me to a google image search of e-cigs exploding?! That is ....ing weird man...Not to mention I'm not even in the market for an e-cig.

This is an e-cig: e-cig - Google Search

Do you have any information on Wismic Reuleaux exploding? Probably not...

The term e-cig is all inclusive. You will find everything in there from mechanical mods to regulated mods. Most of which the user did something stupid because of lack of knowledge and/or carelessness.

Oh and give the Reuleaux a little time .......... it will get it's turn in the news. (bound to happen with that many batteries) The Reuleaux is just the 'new kid on the block' is all (that's the only reason everyone & their brother suggested it) Next month there will be another new kid on the block.

Relax, don't be so paranoid. I'm going to take the chance that this thing does not explode. I'm likely to end up OK.

You can check out the General E-Liquid Discussion Forum, but it's geared more at the DIY'er. I advocate for finding a few juices that you like at the local B&M to hold you over until you get acquainted with what's available from the online retailers. You can find some of the same big-brand juices online for less than you'll pay at the B&M. Personally, I get my staple juices through Mt. Baker Vapor at the moment; not everyone likes them for some historical reasons, but it's decent product at respectable pricing, and it's holding me over until I get set up for DIY myself.

Does it blow fat clouds? What made you purchase that one? $70 seems like it might be too cheap for what I'm looking for. I'm glad it suits your needs though!
The RX200 is amazing it has a really high quality feel, you'd never know that it's not a $100.00 mod, they sell a DNA 200 version for $125.00-$175.00 and they are just about equivalent.
The low price is because Wismec is a sister company of Joyetech and they must be getting the chips really inexpensively.
The higher priced mods will be no more durable then this one.

Go to youtube and watch some videos, the one complaint was a loose battery door [Earlier Reviewers] mine that arrived this week is rock solid. Fit an finish are really nice.

I'm rocking my TFV4 at 100 Watts with Quad Coils and it's a tremendously thick and tasty vape.
Since it has 3 Batteries it lasted the day no problem at that Wattage. Guy I met in the vape store that has one says that it'll go 2 days at 75 Watts. Wow!

There's a lot of debate about this and I'm probably opening a can of worms in your thread so let me go ahead and say "Sorry"... I wouldn't put 20A batteries in a 200W mod. I'd go with LG HB6's (very short run time) or Sony VTC4's (still less run time than the HG2's, but more than the HB6's) They handle high wattage MUCH better. If you go with the TFV4, you will be running it between 80 - 120 watts. I put a pair of HG2's in my iPV4 and they got pretty warm running it at 80W. I put VTC4's in it and they never got above room temperature. :2c:
You don't run into that problem with the RX-200 since it has 3 batteries the Amps are evenly distributed. I was at 120 Watts and the batteries were running cool.

Arguably, except to save money, the technology in Tanks has reached the point where the pre-built ones will beat almost any humanly re-built atty in the market.
You don't need to rebuild Attys to use a TFV4.

Too many counterfeit VTC4 on the market. I don't buy them. My LG HG2 bought at Orbtronics are running flawlessly in the Reuleax rx200
I'm rocking 100-120 Watts and the batteries aren't even warm.
