Yes believe it or not :(. I have a boss from hell when it comes to certain things. He thinks we're slacking on our job if we use the bathroom a couple of times in the day and its not on our break. I guess he'd rather we all wee in our pants. But don't get me wrong - we don't take his observations or comments extremely seriously. I don't think its legal (yet) to fire someone because they had to pee.

Honestly if it came down to it, i would have a metal bucket by my desk... pee in it, and only empty it out during "scheduled breaks".

YES i would go that far to prove a point.... but then again, i have a medical note that says i am allowed to leave my desk to stretch every 45min.

Bah, silly employers. My work is quite relaxed. I vape at my desk, and can get up and walk around whenever I want. We're really rated more on performance than how busy we look.

Seems ludicrous that you need a Dr's note to allow you to get up from your desk and stretch. Makes me think I'm just spoiled.

Happy workers increase productivity more than forcing you sit at your desk with muscle cramps.

I've never needed to use said note at my current office.

My back problems date back to a time when i worked as a baggage-handler at the airport... being bed ridden for 8 months from two slipped disks at the age of 21 was no fun.

That's why with the help of an education, i got me one of them office jobs i kept hearing about...

But yeah, i would go crazy in a place where you are evaluated by how busy you look, rather than what you have finished by the end of the week.
Thankfully I've never had to endure that kind of work environment.

Ha! I've had passing thoughts that maybe he'd like it if we all peed our pants to save on our "down time". Then when customers or truck drivers come in to pick up their order it would look like he employs all the special people of society - a bunch of workers walking around in their soiled pants

I am, for the most part, thankful I have a job. Its more than what some people have, but I am keeping my eyes out for something else.
