What to do with basic eGo batteries...

After upgrading to a twist and a passthrough, I'm left wondering what to do with the basic eGo batteries. They do ok with a low res carto in a tank. Not a big fan of the wickers, though I admittedly haven't tried a vivi nova.

Are these just emergency backups, or is there something where they actually come close to shining/being pleasant?

I use my joy ego passthrough unregulated with a boge 2.0 LR carto... delivers what I want and I seldom use my Vamo above what an ego provides. I do use it or a true passthrough variable mini usb to test above that but with the juices I use I prefer below 4.0 usually but go up around 4.3 for one and then use the mini or Vamo. It just all depends on your sweet spot. I like a cool, easy draw, vape.

And eGo with a Kanger T3 with a 1.8Ω coil, vapes well for most of my flavors. I really only use my Twist for espresso flavor which needs higher volts.

so far that is all i plan on using mine for...and it will have to be a dire emergency LOL

I would just keep them to use while your twist charging and/ or emergency back-ups.

^This, however now that I've figured out my T3s, my twist sits at the same voltage as a regulated ego, so my preference has actually gone back to the originals just to save on length since I know the extra voltage is not necessary.

with a 1.8ohm or lower vivi nova, they work just as well as my vamo. Or, give them to smoker that wants to quit.

The dual coil low res carto's dont work very well with a regular ego batt IMHO.

I must be the odd-ball...I am thinking about trying out the twist just to see what it is like and a passthrough can be handy to save on battery charging that way they are ready to "go to town" when I am out and about....they would be my back-ups honestly (unless the twist turns out to be ultra phenomenal..)

I use eGo 1000 and 1100 mahs with 2.0-3.0 cartomizers SC and a glass tank. Plenty of vapor more than I get smoking though not a big deal to me either flavor and delivery of the nic is. Best unit I have vaped yet. Though I haven't yet tried out Big Batt mods or VV as of yet..curious but then I happy with what I have too.

Like others have mentioned you could give to a smoking friend as a gift or you could PIF on ECF
