Hi, again, youngskillz. Please, if you're not addicted to smoking, the e-cig could be dangerous for you. I feel a responsibility to discourage non-smokers (that's you) from becoming vapers. If you are not addicted to nicotine and you still insist on using the PV, then I INSIST that, for my own peace of mind, that you are only vaping 0mg juice.
I tried my first cigarette when I was 8 years old. By the time I was 16 I smoked a pack a day (and they were not lights, either). I smoked when I was pregnant. I smoked when I had pneumonia. I smoked on the way to my throat biopsy. I had to dig a partially eaten cigarette out of my toddlers mouth. PLEASE, if you aren't addicted to nicotine, DO NOT RISK IT. and BTW: one complaint that new users have is that THERE IS NO HEADRUSH OR BUZZ feeling with vaping. I don't mean to be mean (unless it means I got through to you) I just want you to realize the door that you are about to open.

Took the words right out of my mouth.

with all due respect to you sir, i didnt ask this question for a lesson on quitting smoking.

And since im a mild smoker, i do get the buzz from the regular cigarettes, and im trying to find out if ill get those effects from vaping.

The reason people are pleading with you not to get into this stuff is because we've all been there. Judging by your name (youngskillz) and your use, many people here will see themselves at a young stage of smoking - using it "socially" etc., which essentially boils down to wanting to seem/feel "cool" or essentially get a legal high, which seems more to be what you want.

The trouble is, like it and believe it or not - you will get addicted. I don't think anyone picks up their first cigarette and says "Awesome! I want to do this all of the time!", but that's unfortunately where it does lead, and once you're there there's very little going back. I can't possibly see vaping being any different, particularly for someone trying to use it for some sensation of a rush or high. Regardless, while vaping may very well be the far safer option, it will still lead down the same road.

As it's already been pointed out - noone here can stop you, but that doesn't mean that people shouldn't feel obligated not to try. Noone's trying to hurt you - they're trying to stop you from hurting yourself. Do yourself a favor and take advice from those with far more experience.

Nailed it.

I can remember when I used to get a head rush. My first cigarette of the day was always in my car, driving to high school My parents didn't know that I smoked of course, so I had to wait until I left the house.

Sadly, the head rush and feeling of being cool went away a long time ago, and all i have left is this addiction.

Please don't be offended or look at all of the comments by these good people as preachy, although it's hard to not sound that way regarding this subject matter. You are telling a very common tale that we have all lived. None of us thought we could get addicted.

If I could go back in time, knowing what i know now....

I disagree with the "no headrush or buzz", although not completely. Vaping doesn't hit you over the head with a sledgehammer like a cigarette first thing in the morning does. But, if you vape the right strength and quantity you do get nicotine into your bloodstream and yeah, it does hit you for sure.

I had my last cigarette yesterdayat 11:30am, 25 hours ago. I have rarely, rarely ever gone this long without smoking; save my attempts at quitting that resulted in me promptly falling right off the wagon. My urge to run out to the corner store and buy a pack a cigarettes is about 5% of what it would be if I wasn't vaping. What I really like is the fact that it really doesn't smell (much) and it just feels a lot cleaner. No other way to describe it....

It does feel Cleaner Smoother.
Too much Nic gives a massive headrush for me.
And feel amped.
IM still between 1-2packs a Day. But thats because My 401 batt died & I wont order another. & Lazy to alter my mod.
The 510 didn't cut it for me much. 1 week I was cut down to 5-10 smokes a day.
Got bad juice stopped vaping.. & was hard for me to get back into it.

Im slowly getting back in it. month or so later.
& Soon hopefully permanently back to vaping and stop smoking.
Also I personally prefer vaping over smoking When I can properly taste it.
The 401 does that for me. & The 510 does not. Nor does the 901.
If ya read my siggy I will be gathering everything for my 510 to get rid of it some day soon. Batteries used about 5 times each & atties used maybe 10ml of juice combined.
I used my box mod over the batteries cause they last longer & give better flavor & hits.
& No it wasn't the mentha juice that killed it for me. Its another from same place. Loved it 1 day Then couldn't taste nothing properly & still can't if I use it.

Sorry for long post.

I agree with Rosa (once again). Don't get yourself hooked on nic...it's not cool. Stick with the 0mg.

You will not get a head rush from vaping.
Nicotine is a stimulant, but you will probably get more of a buzz from drinking a cup of coffee than you will vaping a whole cart of your 24mg.

I get a headrush from vaping. It depends on how long I vape for. If I take a few light puff, nothing but a killed craving. If I take long deep slow drags for a few minutes, then I'm walkingon clouds! Not sure what to recommend to you in terms of whether to start or not. If your smoking, even occasionally, this is still a better choice. If you haven't become addicted to cigs yet, you probably don't have the brain chemistry to become addicted to vaping.

Btw, I used to smoke 1/2 a pack of marlboro lights a day and now do 18mg liquid and carts. They are working fine.
