Well, you're going to hear lots about tube mods you could use. My suggestion would be that you look at a reasonably high power unit (20-50 watts) to be able to get the most out of the nautilus' bvc coils. I've vaped them as high as 25 watts (depending on the juice) to good effect.

In that spirit, you might want to consider the eleaf iStick. It's very compact, suits a nauti well, and has power to 20 watts. While not a tube, it fits the hand very well and is stealthy. If $$$ were not an issue for you, I'd also recommend the Vapor Shark DNA30 - again, very compact, eminently pocketable, and even more powerful.

If you're really stuck on tubes, the P3 would prolly be the mac daddy or you could get a Provari 2.5 from the classies at a reasonable price.

Just purchased a Nautilus and was looking for something a little more unique/less goofy looking than putting it on a vision spinner. What are some setups people are running a nautilus on? I've always used tube mods or ego style batteries and would like to shy away from any box mods.

Thanks

I have found my Nautilus coils are burning out very quickly - 2-3 days. I contacted Aspire & here is the advice they gave me...

Dear Customer,
Thank you for supporting aspire!

70% vg e-juice is very thick,it is difficult for our coil to soak up e-juice,We have a test these days, using 50% or 70% vg e-juice with high voltage, the average life of the coil is 3-5 days.
We don't suggest our customer to use our nautilus series coil with Mod,it is really easy burn out our coils.
Here are our chief engineer suggestion to use our products correctly:
For our 1.6ohm coils, the reasonable voltage is:3.3V-4.2V,use it with normal e-go battery, which have constant voltage output.
For our 1.8ohm coils, the reasonable voltage is:4.2V-4.8V,use it with voltage adjustable.
What's more, high proportion of VG e-juice or high sugar/sweetener content e-juice will also affect the coils life.we suggest to use our products with VG proportion less than 50%(we usually use 0-30%vg e-juice)
Best regards!

I disagree. With mod one can set wattage to how like. If one get burned taste then look at watts and adjust down till it no more burn. Then use that setting as benchmark for future coil.

So anyway, how is my Chinese??

The burning coil is very interesting are you using get duel coil or the vertical? With my experience I can vape the verticals in my hana dna30 around 15w consistently with 50vg juice. My higher vg based juices I vape at lower wattage so the coils wicking can keep up with the heat, around 10 to 12w. Make sure the coils you purchased are authentic there are fakes out there. If you are using the vertical coils and still having issues try taking a safety pin and poking in the coil where the juice flows in. Hope this helps.

def provari is best option for tube style. I think the makers of provari (provape i believe) basically push the nautilus on people that buy the provari. but the box style VW mods really dont look bad with it. I have it on an MVP2 right now which is a little narrower and taller than most i think so it doesnt look bad at all imho. might look a lil weird when i get my rdna40 in a couple weeks but idc. oh and def use the BVC coils they make a world of diff.

Dunno about that. I rock my Nautilus at around 15 watts or so. My juice is 85/15. I'm getting almost a month on a BVC. No problems here. Cheers

Yep it looks kind of silly on an iStick, but, it works for the price and the power. The iStick stinks for any older single coil type topper though, but perfect with the BVC's.

My personal pref is to vape BVC's between 11-15 watts, although on 1.6ohms 8-11watts is pretty good on the MVP.

If you want tube style, there are lots of options out there. Anything that can reach 15 watts will probably suit your needs, Vamo, SVD, etc. Still, a 20-30 watt will cost you more but will give you more options, and options are good.
