So I've been using my Aero tank for over a week now and it's pretty good, but I'm sick of it flooding and me getting juice in my mouth. Also I find I have to fill it up usually twice a day. So tomorrow im going to order the Aspire Nautilus and give it a try. However now im wondering at this point if I need to step up my battery at all. Im currently using a Spinner II, with a Spinner I as my backup. So aside from the nautilus looking a little silly atop a Spinner battery, is there really any need for a bigger battery?

Also, just to get an idea of what options are out there, what larger batteries are out there that would look sharp paired with a nautilus? I dont want to get too big though, the nautilus it self is pushing it for me on size. and Im not looking to get into mods just yet, so preferably something with a fixed battery.

I bought 3 of the 30 amp bat's for when I'm vaping at home. They hit harder and have stronger TH and Vape smoke. I can wear one of them out in a few hours. I bought 3 of the ones from altsmoke.com. Those things I can go 2-3 days without needing charging. So I use those when I go out.

Damn, $84  I guess some of this stuff gets pretty pricey. I'm definitely not ready to start messing with replaceable batteries, right now I'm just looking for something that I can charge and go. I suppose aesthetics is the main reason I'm looking right now, I just think the aspire is going to look...odd, on such a small battery. But having longer life would be nice too. To be honest my spinner II gets me through the day from the time I wake up until I go to bed.

You may get better mileage out of your aerotank while you wait on the Nautilus, if you inhale gently instead of sucking hard to get a hit of vapor. Sucking hard can pull the juice into the coil faster than it is vaporized, causing gurgling and spitup of juice into the drip tip. I found this out when I was new to airflow control tanks.

The batteries are re-chargable. I have had the same 6 batteries since I got the setup in hmm 396 days ago :)

I really don't pull very hard on my ecig anyway, generally I like to take a few small puffs and then a light pull. I mean don't get me wrong the aero tank is great, just some minor annoyances, and of course the curiosity to try out new stuff! :D

I actually have the beauty ring that came with my Aero tank, I also bought another one today that's straight instead of curved. I believe the nautilus comes with one anyway. Im really looking forward to the nautilus, but such a big tank has got to look funny on such a skinny battery, but of course who knows maybe it'll look cool! :2cool:

I wonder if anyone out there has the same, or similar setup and would be willing to post some pictures. I searched Google and YouTube and didn't find anyone...lol, I cant be the only one wanting to put a nautilus on a Spinner.

EDIT: Scratch that, I found a pic and it actually doesn't look bad at all.

Any mod that takes an 18000 series battery will do. I have two that I use right now and the Nautilus fits fine on both of them. It would looke kind of awkward on a little ego or something like that.

Since it sounds like you want a device with an internal battery that you recharge without removing, I think the unanimous #1 recommendation would be the Innokin MVP 2. It's a box though, not a tube. If you're specifically looking for a tube mod with an internal battery, it's slim pickings. Actually, I can't think of any. Ha

But if you're willing to try something with a replaceable battery there is a whole heap of similar variable voltage/variable wattage tubes that all do the same thing for under say, $65: Vamo, SID, Ace, Tesla, Zmax...

With that said, to answer your actual question: is there any NEED to get a bigger battery? Nope! You've already got a variable voltage battery, with another as a backup, so if don't want to spend anymore money you're good to go. The only thing is those smaller batteries will be a bit top heavy w/ a Nautilus which will make it much easier to accidentally knock over. And well, it's glass. ;)

The nautilus will work fine on your battery, but like others said it will be top heavy. It's really not much different than the tank you already have. I have two of them that I don't really even use anymore. Mainly cause I thought I could rebuild the coils, but lost interest. When I purchased them coils were $3.50 per (now cheaper). I would go through a coil in 5 days cause I use heavy vg juices mostly.

They do come with a beauty ring to hide ego threads. I probably have 3 or 4 unused coils sitting around.

If you've ever used a cartomizer tank I think that might be more user friendly on a battery of that size and can be quite light weight as well. Only drawback is they are fiddly in the beginning. A place like surevapes.com has a boge xxl LR carto's laser punched and a boge f16 carto tank would be cheap... this place has free shipping over $10 and the tank and the pack of carto's would be under $15. The tank itself is not glass and is so light and great for most juice.

my two cents.

I would be more worried about breaking the head off the battery with that setup since "pyrex" is really tough poop. It will look like a fricken wand though.

Agreed. I did the same thing your contemplating when I got the Nautilus. Used it with my Evod cause that's all I had. Battery life wasn't a problem. Looking like Harry Potter was. Plus it was uncomfortably top heavy. If you like the tank you'll undoubtably upgrade to a 22 ish mm device or a box...I did.
