I've never seen anything mentioned so I thought I'd bring it up. What utensil do you use to stir your DIY mixes?
I've only done one batch of mixing 48 down to 12, but I'd imagine if you're mixing 100 in, you'd want to mix more carefully than I.

    I just grabbed a teaspoon.

And it came to mind also when one of my ex-suppliers was whining about having to buy expensive equipment to mix with.

Is that the same thing used to mix paint?

No. A magnetic stir plate is a plate (some of them will heat up as well as stir) with a magnetic rotating thing inside. You put your solution in a beaker and a magnetic bar in the beaker. Turn the stir plate on, and the magnetic thing inside the stir plate rotates, causing the magnetic bar to rotate and stir your solution.

Then I wonder how well a paint mixer/vibrating plate would work.

I bought some glass stirring rods from my lab supplier , they are about 12 inches long , and about 1/4 inch thick. They work great for me ( particularly as I mix very large batches sometimes) .

TY, I guess my chopsticks would've worked ok then. I mix in a large mixing cup, and was concerned about how well this stuff needs to be mixed.

I haven't tried this but your topic made me think of it lol...Get a straw and stick it in your liquid and blow...putting air into the liquid helps to steep faster too. Could maybe put some cotton in the end you blow on to prevent any moisture from your mouth getting in the straw/liquid. If this just sounds stupid...just ignore it lol.
