I have a couple disposable clearomizers, 1 vivi nova, and at least 50 cartomizers. I'm sick of buying cartos just to realize after 1 ml of juice that I really don't like it as much as I thought I did in store. What do you use to test out flavors? I'm not ready to jump into RBAs but is there a tester drip atomizer already set up? Back when I started vaping, I remember I used to drip onto my 510 atomizer to test out flavor. I also remember it gunked up easily, got dry burns and mixed flavors much too easily. Do vendors still carry these and is there a way to avoid the gunk, dry burns and mixed flavors? Thanks!

The best way I try new juices is with a 306 atomizer with a 306 drip tip, and yes it will fit onto your 510 connection. You just add 3 or 4 drops and you can have about 6 to 8 puffs out of it until the flavour goes or you have a dry hit. To clean the 306 there should be a small hole at the other end and you just blow the juice out and then dry burn the rest off. But if it gets gunked up over time some people soak it in cheep vodka over night then blow it out and dry it off. I hope this helps you out bud.

For just a few bucks more then the price of a dripping atty, you can get a rebuildable. First link comes with a coil pre-built. Pretty soon Empiremods will have ready made coils for purchase, as you said you don't really want a RDA. The second link is a little more advanced as you would have to build that coil.

I use the bridgeless 510 atty's with the circular splatter guard for tasting my diy juice. I use more than one to keep the mixed flavor and constant cleaning to a minimum. The Smoketech RDA above intrigues me, but not crazy about the idea of cleaning/changing wick and coils for every flavor. Give the juice a minute or so to soak in when first using the atty, and add juice when vapor production falls off, should help to minimize dry burns. As for the gunk, I haven't had that problem, so I don't know what to tell you.

I find a CE3 to be the least expensive and easiest to clean of all devices for flavor testing.

You can pull the inner air-tube out and drip, or just use as is and inject a ml for a longer test. Because there is only a tiny wick and can be taken apart, they clean up completely and easily. $10 for a five pack.

As some have mentioned before me, a dripping atomizer can be used to test flavors. I never got the hang of using one.

What I use is a Nano clearomizer. Small capacity (1ml) is a perfect size to test flavors, easy to fill or empty by removing the screw off mouth piece, inexpensive, re-usable. May not be safe for cinnamon or citrus flavors as I think it is made of polycarbonate plastic.

how do you clean these out to try out a new flavor???

I think I'm leaning towards this or the HH.357.

Probably can't go wrong with the HH 357, I just can't justify that price for something I use sporadically for taste testing juice. If I was a hardcore dripper, that would be different. Best of luck to you no matter what you choose.
