What vg/pg ratio do you find best for the Atlantis?

I've been using 50/50. What's the best to use to extend the life of the coils? I get huge clouds with the 50/50 and am using a light colored juice. I get about a week out of a coil, could go longer but like a fresh coil. My friend had the same juice but 70vg/30pg and I found after the first hit it just does not seem to wick the best unless I let it sit a while.

Hmm, my Atlantis wicks just fine with a 90% VG. being chain vaped at 35W I have yet to experience a dry hit. Make sure the little holes that expose the cotton in the coils are lined up with the middle of the teeth so there exposed to the liquid and can wick properly. I personally like higher VG juices but whatever you like. And I think its better to tell how much juice you put through a coil rather then how long. Cause its about how much juice and everyone consumes at a different rate. I don't like the Atlantis very much at all (Subtank Mini and DeltaII all the way!!) but when I was using it I put around 120ml of VG juice through it before it crapped out. I vape clear or off clear color juices always.

Try out a Delta II if you like the Atlantis. Its essentially a much, much, much better Atlantis IMO.

Hi
I like 100% VG in both my Atlantis tanks shown here with the A-mod 7ml extensions..I might add I run between 35-38w for a thick, flavorful, vape..as the tank gets a little warm so does the juice, thinning it some further helping to wick fast..no dry hits, no burnt or hot hits either..just an incredible vape..can't believe its a tank! Lol

Opinions vary on the Delta ll..you say you like it but others on another forum say it absolutely sucks, a waste of money...just sayin

Its technically a clearomizer although I do understand the generic term "tank" being applied. For me "tank" still refers to a carto-tank, but I am and old school vaper lol.
If you like them Atlantis clearos you gotta try a DeltaII man im telling you. Better organic cotton coils, better flavor (even better then the subtank series) the same or a little more air flow then the Atlantis and the coils can take much, much more power. I vape it at 60W all day with a VG juice and sometimes at 70 for fun and it keeps up 100%. More clouds, better flavor, better coils and an RBA deck make the DeltaII in my opinion the best clearo out currently.

From all the reviews I have watched from very established reviwers all say its extremely good and much better then the Atlantis. Personally I haven't herd from someone who ownded one that they didn't love it and I haven't seen a bad review. But your right, to each there own. It definetly doesn't suck though sorry, it outperforms the Atlantis in every category. You should try it. Hell, if you don't like it I'll send you the same amount you paid and you send me the tank. I don't think it will let you down. Can you provide some information or reviews of established people saying it "sucks and isn't worth the money"

I might someday, but I drip 90% of the time..I like the Atlantis when I'm driving about town..got tired of trying to re-drip at every other stop light..I'm not really into spending more $$ either..as my pappy says "if it ain't broke don't fix it"

I've been thinking about buying the Delta II. I noticed that the Delta's coils look really similar to the Atlantis coils. What are your thoughts on them from both a flavor and vapor production standpoint, if you don't mind my asking?

I don't. Ok, imagine organic cotton coils with a hole on them that can be opened or closed off depending on juice viscosity that provide better flavor then the Subtank series (and obviously the Atlantis.) Now imagine the same or more airflow then the Atlantis BUT coils that can easily take double the power, I have vaped this thing at 80W with VG juice just hitting it one draw after the next trying to make it dry hit and it didn't do it. The vapor production don't even get me started, it CHUCKS and as mentioned the flavor is unreal. I personally haven't seen a bad review on it and the liquid volume control in the coils really impressed me. Watch some reviews on it but I think if you get it your going to love it. It can hold about 3.7 ml of juice I got into it. Also the RBA deck is amazing on it, I have one that I just use as an RTA and like it waaaay better then Kayfuns and even more then my Lemo to be honest. I think Joytech hit this one way out of the park, best sub ohm clearo out right now IMO (I own em all.)

Good to know, thanks mate. I really like that it comes with a rebuildable deck. I was looking at the Kanger Protanks when they first came out but quite frankly, I've had bad luck with Kanger products. I've probably already seen all the video reviews you've seen, but I always like to back those up with the experiences of members here. One of my B&M's has a couple in stock so I'll definitely head over later this week to check them out in person. Many thanks. :toast:

You mean the Subtanks not the Protanks I assume? The Minis a treat, but I like the Delta II better. I really like the look of it personally, I know some don't like the all steel tank section but I think it makes it look sharp. Im vapeing it right now at 75W with an all VG Maui Dew juice and its throwing flavorful clouds all over lol.

So maybe Im vaping at too low of a vg for the life of the coils? Can anyone explain the science behind this? Someone said they vape the Atlantis with 120ml of high vg with one coil? I vape high quality light colored 50/50 vg/pg juice with the aspire cf sub battery and the inside of the coil is black by the time I vape 30ml of juice. Again could my vg be too low? And yes I line the coil holes up with the open notches in the metal.
