What voltage/wattage range should I stay within?

So I am about to receive my new setup and I don't want to screw it up right away so I figured I'd turn to you folks for some advice. It's a Vamo V5 with a Aspire nautilus BDC 1.6ohm coil. batteries being used are AW IMR 18650 2000mAh 10A. According to what I am reading, and trust me I hear a lot of different things so I try to take everything with a grain of salt, I should be okay at just about any voltage/wattage the Vamo range has being 3.0-6.0 volts and 3.0-15.0 watts. Am I correct because I'm thinking it can't really be that easy? There seems to me that there should be some limits I should have in which I definitely don't want to cross but maybe I'm just worrying because that's the kind of person I am. What do you guys/gals think? :)

I used the same setup Vamo/Nautilus/Panny 10amp batteries. I'd recommend running at about 6 watts from the git-go and increase /decrease the wattage until you find the 'sweet spot' for your setup and juice. And No, don't fire it up to 15 watts just because you can.

Good luck with your new setup.

OBTW be sure to set your Vamo to RMS. The Mean (default) setting get you burnt vapes.

Start off at a low power setting and gradually work your way up while taking a vape or three on each setting, when you taste burnt/harsh turn it down a little.
Vape at whatever power level you find works best for you.

The lower limit is little to no vapor production while gunking up coils, the high limit is burnt taste.

Yeah, I can't imagine myself starting at 15 watts. I don't know the wattage for my ego twist but I run it at about 4.2 volts and it does just fine on my single coil protank 2. I will probably start around 5 volts with the dual coil and go from there and let the computer figure out my wattage for me. It can be a little daunting figuring out all this stuff as I never liked mathematics lol.

What are your thoughts on this setup? Is there anything you would change about it or do you find the Vamo/Nautilus to be a good match?

Hi there. Don't worry. It's more about what voltage/wattage your comfortable with when using a regulated device. The regulated device should not go any higher in wattage and voltage that is safe. So with your regulated device you are safe to explore different settings and choose the one you like best. You might want to expirement with different volts and watts for different flavor juices. This will help enhance your flavors. You will find not just one setting fits all. Different flavors can be brought out by adjusting your settings. Some will be better at a higher voltage or wattage some might taste better lower. So have fun and expirement. Don't use just one setting for all flavors. You now have the opportunity to enhance your experience with different settings so enjoy. I hope this helps you out!

Oh I'm definitely going to have some fun trying new things. As I said in a previous post I am definitely not a cloud chaser but I like good flavor and some visual feedback from my exhale so as long as I can achieve that then I'm good.

As everyone else said your personal taste is the most important thing. God help you cause you may like burnt juice and firing it at 15 watts may be your burnt spot.

Most people think burnt is just wrong and you will probably be happier with lower voltages.

As far as volts and watts go there is a law, Ohm's law, that ties voltage, wattage, and resistance together. If you know 2 you can get the third and your Vamo does that. If you tell it how many volts you want it checks the resistance of the Nautilus and makes sure that more than 15 watts are not required. If you set a wattage it checks the resistance and determines what voltage is required to get the desired watts. You only set watts OR volts and the device does the other. Google ohms law calculator and it will give you a list of calculators where you fill in the resistance and either ohms or watts and it will give you the other.

If you have 2 atties at different resistances they are more likely to behave the same at the same wattage than the same voltage. So if you are going to change attys you might like to set it in watts and then not have to change it when you change attys. Some people like to pick their own voltage. Whatever you want.

Not a fan of the Nautilus. Gave away the two that I bought. Hopefully you will love yours. They really looked nice on top of SS Vamo.
My Protank 2 with an aerobase performed better and used less juice and battery doing it.
