Hi I just picked up an mvp 3.0 pro with the isub g tank and I'm really enjoying it but I have one problem. When I first received it I tried vaping from 20-55 watts and I decided what I liked best was around 40-45 however I know that the advised wattage range is from 20-35 watts so I was wondering is the advised wattage range a safety precaution or is it just what the manufacturers think gives the best flavour? Basically I want to vape at around 45 watts but is it bad for the tank as it is over the recommend wattage range

You said you know the ''advised wattage range'' is 20 to 35 watts. Who gave this recommendation? The tank manufacturer?

The manufacturer will be aware of parts tolerances to heat, like rubber, plastic, or silicone insulators and gaskets. Using higher watts than recommended could degrade certain parts and void any warranty.

I think the tank manufacturer is cracked and you should vape at a minimum of no less than 200 watts :w00t:

The tank/coil manufactures have a suggested range of operation. The question becomes as to if you can exceed this range. Yes, you can exceed it. The next question then becomes, should you exceed it? That depends upon if you want your coils to last as long as they would at suggested levels. It also depends if you want your gaskets and seals to last as long. On occasion I crank mine way up past the advised range but I don't normally operate there all the time.
