After seeing alot of bad weather all over the place, just wondering what everyone would do if bad weather hit and you lost power for a few hours, or god forbid a few days?

Think I have my backup plan; I have a car charger that you can plug regular plugs into... How about you, what would you do?

Few hours? Golden, got my PCC

Few days? OMGWTFBBQ is happening and I should move to canada anyway.

where i live there is nothing major.. area will get a flood once every 2-4 yrs that will kill power for 3 days. my car adapter has usb and wall plug so could charge a battery there and use the pass through. but i would want a warm shower so I would just go to a relatives house that has power. moms house has natural gas generator back up that powers the entire house and 2 free bedrooms so i would go there..

if all else failed there is always atleast 2 aa batteries laying around and i can clip a piece of speaker wire and tape.. just tape together the 2 batteries and tape the wire to the batteries then touch the ends to the atty.

We've got a 10,000 watt generator downstairs, I'm good. Gotta be able to make coffee too.
RIMP what is a kensington?? (If you can say!!!)

Portable power pak, little longer and thicker than a credit card:) You can charge it from your computer or a wall jack:) Has enough to power a pt:) Debating on whether to keep it as I'm using bigger batts and the pt not as much:) Very nice though and the charge lasts for days:)

2 full charge batteries plus one in use. Six hours or so, no prob.
PCC kept full charged. One day, easy.
Kensington USB, fully charged. Easily another day.

However, for real backup, I have a car lighter to USB converter, so if I can start the car, I can charge a battery. Also, have a 4 AAA box that uses 3 AAA for power to the atomizer. With rechargables, always a number on hand, it's a nice vape that lasts nearly all day. In a pinch, I can use any AAA's, and have, so if I can get 3 standard AAA, I can vape. This one ALWAYS goes on vacation/long trips with me "just in case".

That is a very good point. I never thought of it. I think I need to buy a car charger.
