Bought a kit with two Ego batts and two CE4's about three years ago for entirely too much money. I used it for a month or so, but could never get rid of cigarettes. I tried again last August and it seemed better, so I bought a VV battery and a Protank 3 Mini. That was much better, so I bought an Itaste VV and an Aspire BCC tank and at that point, I knew I would never smoke again. Now I have two IStick 20's, an IStick 30, a Sigelei 50 watt, a couple of Nautilus Minis, a couple of Lemos, a Magma and I'm rebuilding coils. I guess DIYing juice is next!
August will be a year of no smoking. :)

Started off with a horribly overpriced cigalike device, but like you it was the eGo kit that fully got me off the stinkies. Nowadays I'm using a mix of gear all across the spectrum, but mostly rebuildables (tanks for out-and-about, drippers at home) with the odd clearo or carto tank for quick convenience once in a while

Welcome! Nice to see more and more vapers popping up in this region ;)
Hey, you're from New England:) What part?

It seems the folk at the local vape shops are all into "drip" and Mech-Mods - one dude I talked to was using 2mg juice and consuming a few OZ a day!! (while letting out enormous clouds for sure!)

I guess that is the beauty of the hobby/industry - plenty of choice for consumers - no matter if they are a 'puffer' or a 'cloud chaser'.

    :)

There are plenty of shops like that here, too. They all look down on a couple of tamer vape shops that, while their gear isn't as bad-..., find their own niche catering to too newer vapers without a lot of the attitude.

A co-worker who has been vaping for 2 years suggested an Eleaf Istick 30 watt battery, coupled with the KangerTech sub Mini, and hooked me up with a website that had a good price for both. That was 31 days ago, and have not picked up a cigaraunch since. We have two local vape shops that have a decent variety of flavors and are quite helpful with advice. I started with 6 mg of nicotine in two flavors, and this weekend, stepped down to 5 mg in one flavor and 4 in another. Cinnabon and Strawberry Cremesicle, both quite yummy!!

LOL - we have two shops nearby along with a few that just sell bottled Juice.

While the most of the workers in the older of the two shops were sporting (and fogging up the entire store) with their vape, they did steer me to the 'CLK' and a Aspire BVC tank. I came across the other shop while driving around and I could barely go in as the vapor was so dense in there. I was looking for a new coil for one of my tanks and maybe a new flavor and the next thing I knew they were trying to sell me on a high end mech mod and RDA dripper setup.

I walked out and never returned.

That's what I love about the vaping world. Such variety that there really is something for everyone

V2 kit, than egos, big jump to a MVP2.0, than to mechs, than the sigelei 100, and rda's galore. next on the list is a REO, maybe after that I can stop buying stuff. who am I kidding, I have become a vapeaholic, and have never felt better. I also wish I would have passed on the first three but they did the trick at the time.

Premium cigalikes, then V2, embarrassed to admit..Blu . Then Lava Tube, Provari, SVD, Vamo, MVP, etc.etc... Finally Reo  been over a year with my Reo Grands! All I plan to ever use. Can't say I regret the journey. You live, you experiment, you learn. All part of finding what's right for you. As long as your vapeing happy and safe, your doing it right!

Started with standard eGo's, then in chronological order....
    eGo twists
JoyTech EVic x2, broke both of them in a span of 5 months
Innokin SVD x2, wore out the buttons on both within a few months
IPV2S, decent, but then temp control came out, sold it.

    Current mods....
    rDNA40, original from the pre-order
SMPL mod (clone), retired but still have it
    DNA30
    rDNA40, big screen

Just ordered the white Subox kit, can never have too many back-ups....right.....lol

Started with a few different brands of disposable cigalikes from the gas station. After trying those for a weekend moved to a kanger evod starter kit. Then moved on to a MVP v2 with a few different protanks.
I think I got serious when I moved to a Russian 91% on the MVP 2 out a year ago. Still use this as a backup setup today.

Now for my daily use I'm using a Subtank mini, Kayfun 4, or a Cthulhu on either a SX Mini or RDNA 30.

Aside from the cheap ciggies China was selling on DX (used on and off for a few months and hated it - back in 2009/2010), I spent the first few years in the V4L ecosystem. My first was the Vapor King followed by the Dial-A-Volt, and then eventually the Vapor Zeus. I LOVED the Vapor Zeus (dual mode), would probably still use it every now and then if it were not for the problems with their Smileomizers (giant cartomizers). The Dual mode could be used as a manual or auto battery which was awesome.

I then wanted to try an RTA, but these only existed on 510, so I bought a Vamo V5 and an RSST - had no luck. Leaking everywhere, bad taste from the cotton I was using. Too much hassle. I went back to my Zeus and DAV.

When V4L had a crazy sale on their OMG Mods, I bought six and used them for about a year after. These were my first Box Mods and I was sold on the form factor. Replacable 18650s were a dream. Still on Cartomizers at this point.

About a 8-9 months ago I saw the istick hype and grabbed one along with a Nautilus Mini. Had no idea what kind of rabbit hole I was scurrying into. I loved it, used this setup for months. Then, you guessed it, The sub-ohm bug bit. Grabbed a Melo and an iStick 50w about 3 months ago. Since then I've purchased some Kanger Subtanks and other clearos, an MVP 3.0 and an iVP Mini 2.

Can't even begin to think where I'll be come December. But I just preordered a Subox Mini kit as well. My goto setup at the moment is my Kanger Subtank Plus on my MVP 3.0. But my Nautilus Mini set atop my 50w is the best I've experienced for flavor so it gets used a lot too.

I started with a 30w istick with a delta 2 tank. I knew nothing when I walked into the store. But they took care of my pretty nicely and stayed within my budget. I quickly (I think 2 weeks later, and after I'd purchased my first RDA and started learning to build) decided to get a similar setup to my friend, which was a dual 18650 Tesla invader wood box mech mod. Which served me well for about a month or so. Then I started looking into something else and ended up buying a smy 180w god mod for $50. But its notorious crappy 510 and need of a .5 ohm build left me with a bit of a lack luster taste ( we're in the process of putting in a fat daddy v4 510 connection). So I stumbled across the sigelei 150w vw mod for $80. And it reads down to .1. Its basically my constant mod now. I did just purchase a av Manhattan 1:1 copper clone, and a SLS skyline m6 fuhattan mech mod. I'm currently possess everything I've bought, and I've even got 10 rdas and I added an Atlantis tank to the collection, but my most recent tank was the herakles. I've been vaping for 3 months on the 9th of this month. I'm not sure that its been less expensive than traditional smoking, but it sure has been a lot more fun lol
