What was you're first "advanced" setup

I build, i use mechs, i sub ohm, i super ohm (i guess that would be the alternative ) i DIY and i still dont feel like ive got an advanced setup. I like my gear real simple.

I suppose my first mech/subohm setup was the aspire atlantis topping a hammer clone with 18500s from (gasp) efest (embarrassed to say it but its true)

The one I'm waiting on! A IPV3 ti with a Atlantis tank and ni200 coils. I've had a few cool ones though... Infinity Pro, eVic, Sigelei zmax v5, eleaf 30w, to name a few I can't wait to get my ipv3 though...

Never went into mechs- first decent setup was an iPV2 with a Mephisto v1/TOBH Atty. Since then, upgraded to an iPVmini2, and finally, the glorious Sigelei 150w. Up top, the MutationX v4 or the Valhalla.

My first non pen-type battery was an MVP 2. The Evod 2 was my first venture past top-wicked clearomizers. 3 months later I bought my first Kayfun Lite and started building my own coils (I hate buying vendor coils). Now I have 8 Kayfun Lites, 6 (4 in use) Kayfun v4s, and 3 Subtank minis. All powered by a Sigelei mini or an iStick 50.

Started with a twist and I think b16? - got a MVP - hated the box - bought a Provari. From there everything from bottom feeders to Temp Control. Now I'm going backwards...I want cartos, 510's with drip shields and tanks I dont need to build coils for. Do people still use 510s/drip shields any more? lol

Don't we first need to define "advanced"?

The mod:

• is it regulated? (voltage or power?)
• is it over xxW (20, 30, 40, 50... 70, 100, 150?)
• is it because it has TC?

The topper:

• is it high air flow?
• is it rebuildable?
• is it "sub ohm"?

Is it some of the above? Is it all the above?

Where do we draw the line?

I'm still trying to find a battery that will deliver Most of the 18650's that I've used don't last the morning ie. Samsung, Efest,and Sony's.
