Hello! I was looking to find out what would be considered the "Ferrari" of e-vaping/e-hookah portable devices?

*some info. about me*
-semi-experienced vaper of about 2+ years
-iTaste MVP 2.0 battery + Aspire Nautilus tank
-work from home so I vape at my work computer in my home, pretty much all day

*problems w/iTaste MVP 2.0 + Aspire Nautilus*..
-iTaste MVP 2.0 slightly awkward rectangular shape (you pretty much have to pick it up "the right way")
-Aspire Nautilus = great starter tank, but breaks EASILY (already on 2nd purchase, which is already broken less than a week out)
-Aspire Nautilus glass tank is *VERY* easy to crack/break, carb-hole adjustments are cool, but I just keep it on the largest size all the time anyway

*what I'm looking for*..
-$250 or less for *entire* setup (battery + attachment)
-portable (must be able to "fit" into pocket - 6'0" adult male)
-not so huge that people will think i'm weird when i pull it out at a bar (that's what she said lol)
-durable (can handle a few drops w/normal use with ease)
-battery will last w/constant use for at least 1-2 days+
-BIG SMOOTH HITS
-adjustable power for customizable draws
-is *NOT* some crazy "mod" that will be a headache to find parts for (preferably a name brand)

I figure that I'll hold onto the iTaste MVP 2.0 as my "backup" .. but I think it might be time to upgrade to a more legitimate system .. It's *very important* that whatever system you guys recommend would be suitable to be able to fit in a tall guy's jeans, without it looking like I'm smuggling a weapon/lightsaber .. and not so crazy that I won't be able to find replacement parts, etc..

With a *budget* of $250 (preferably $150-$200) .. What system would you guys recommend for a complete overhaul? Thanks!! :D

I personally use the mvp all day at work. It took a while after getting it to get use to the shape. Since that was 86'ed off the board, I would say take a look at the new 30ish watt vamo on fasttech. pair that with something like the kayfun since it has a all metal tubing, if you want to dive into rebuildables. If not my wife loves her aerotank v2 which comes in both glass and all metal tubings and has adjustable airflow. then all you need is some batteries nice high power capable batteries like sony vtc4 vtc5 or orbtronics and a charger.
you could even grab some aw imr 18350 batteries for a shorter on the go mod but if you are rebuilding stay above .9 ohm with the little batteries. that should have you right around 100ish with everything you need.

I have only one suggestion:

The ProVari

It isn't a device that suits everyone's needs or has all the options they want, but it fits the criteria you stated.

ProVari Mini Variable Voltage Electronic Cigarette Starter Kit V2

ETA: This would kick up the price a little, but it protects the Nautilus very well:

Aspire Nautilus Replacement Glass - Hollow Sleeve

THIS!^^ Although, I'd go for the full Provari instead on the mini. Unless you have small hands. Go big or go home!

The recommendation for the mini is due to the size options. With attachments a mini can be 18380, 18490 (with optional ProVape extension cap) or (18650 extensions not made by ProVape). A mini can be made larger, but a full size can't be made smaller.

Baditude compares the sizes in his blog (the first link in my post).

Kayfun and a Hana Mod clone. Not exactly the Ferrari, more like the modified Mustang. Still does what ya want, parts are easy to find, and the price is under what you want. Batteries mod and Kayfun should put you around 175 to 220 depending on where you shop. Do a little bit of homework and you should be very pleased with a budget like that. Oh and last thing is if you could deal with a pack of cigarettes then the Hana should be no problem. I am 5'10" and it fits in my work pants and jeans pretty good.

So the consensus is:

Provari (Large) + Kayfun?

Would somebody be able to provide me with the specific models of each I should be looking for? If anybody's willing to go as far as shoot me some links to a place that has the best prices that'd be dope too! Thanks everyone! :)

In my first post "The ProVari" is a link. Did you click on it?

ETA: There is only one place online to buy it and that is ProVape. Some stores carry them, but the price is a bit higher.

ETAA: Dang it! I know there is a picture somewhere of minis and full-sizes next to each other with all possible size configurations, but I can't find it.

That budget would be considered "mid range" affordable middle of the road PV. Not a Ferrari. ;)

In that price range, the most popular devices would seem to be a REO setup or a Provari setup. (mod + batts + delivery device topper).

Then there are shades of other stuff that is also quality just not *as* seemingly popular like stuff from GG, Super-T Manufacturing, like that.

I would read in the PV forum area, if you want VV then read there.

GET VERIFIED for the ECF Classifieds, you can snag some good stuff at way less than retail off people who are upgrading here.

I got the mini with extension, Racehorse. Since it's too heavy for a shirt pocket, I might as well have gotten the full size with extension. If it's not going to be especially portable, it might as well use the longest lasting battery.

Jean pocket √
Jacket pocket √
Holster/sleeve clipped to belt √
Purse/bag √

I think the only mod I own that is light enough for a shirt pocket would be a Reo mini, but I bet I would get juice stains.

You just need an extension ring in addition to extension cap to use mini with 18650. Cigtechs or Greek Modders sell them. ProVape sometimes carries the cigtech one.

Ferrari -- No. Thank goodness. No finicky tricky device, just one darn good vaping machine.

There are other styles besides tubes that are quite nice, too. I just can't recall the name of a very new one that looks like the first class, classy, version of my leaf I stick. ;)
