I have also vaped Capella's right after mixing. They do get a little better after a few days but not enough for me to wait. If you want to speed it up give your juice a hot water bath. Fill coffee mug with hot tap water and let sealed bottle of freshly made juice sit for about 10 minutes in hot bath.

and....How many Capella flavor drops would you put in a 10ml bottle of PG or VG?

Personal preference sellaman. I usually flavor really light and rarely go above 10%. So in a 10ml batch I would only have 1ml flavor. It is easier to add more than try to fix it if it is too strong

I like a lot of flavor and for 10ml.. 20% is 2ml. I love the capella vanilla custard.. I use it at 15% (1.5ml) with a couple drops of sweetener. The chocolates can be mixed around the same. You can start with a few drops and add to taste. Capella is my favorite flavor brand!

Good call on the sweetner. If your flavors seem flat you may be like some of us and need that sweetner to make them pop. On sweetner I am less than 1% of total mix. A little goes a long way.

You aren't concerned about vaping custard?

I don't think everyone is aware of the custard note issue yet. And while Capellas does not use diacetyl, they do use other custard notes, especially in vanilla custard. My guess is the french toast has them too. TPA vanilla swirl is a very nice alternative to Capella van custard, and it has no custard notes.

Personally, I have not found that "steeping" does anything much one way or another. Chocolates deepen a bit after a day, but that's about it. I mix, shake about a minute, and vape.

Really? You're lucky then. They don't taste like much to me unless they've set for at least 18 hrs. I'd call them fully steeped after 72 hrs. And as for tobaccos, they take half an eternity...

Yea, I'm aware. I've tried to switch to cupcake.

How's the vanilla cupcake? Heard good things, and I'm going to put a Capella order in soon...went through the Cappuccino in about 2 weeks. That one is goooood! Even without knowing about custards, I found the vanilla custard to be too heavy. TPA van swirl is lighter and more airy. Mixed with their vanillin crystals 10% PG and their Bavarian Cream and you have a really nice vanilla.

I love it and vape it almost all day!

There are many people that do vape the custard with little to no concern. It really must be a personal choice :) I find that steeping absolutely makes a difference in the flavors of the juice that I mix. The more flavors that are combined the longer it takes to steep to a good rich flavor IMO. The creamy flavors take about 4-5 days to really pop IMO :)

Never even thought of Cupcake - I'll have to look into that. Thx for the idea, donnah.

And BTW, you'll become an ECF Veteran in a week, you should head over to the Pre-vet thread so they can celebrate your turning with you. It happens only once, and it's really quite fun. Here's the link if you're interested. There's a turning in progress right now if you'd like to take a look.
