I agree to all of the above but I think the BB / SB / Altsmoke PV's need to have some way to change the adapter without having to add this or that.

Make the top cap unscrew so the adapter can be changed somehow.

If not, then give the purchaser the option of what adapter they want.

I'm really into 808 carts right now because of the ease of use and the fact they last pretty much all day at work and while driving without having to fiddle with them.

That's the only thing that has kept me from purchasing a BB at this point.
It has great reviews and Grimm speaks very highly of it but I don't want to have to screw an adapter on it.

just my opinion **
I really don't have a problem unscrewing &/or screwing in an adapter (like Chad mentioned, as we would with the atty anyway). They're as small as it comes (wont add a tremendous amount of length to the device) & seems a funny reason for holding off on buying a device, to me anyway . It would obviously cost a lot more to have as many compatible tops than adapters too. I personally much prefer having adapters that uniformly fit a 510, not only because 510s are one of my favorites but because of the simple ease of interchangeability allowing more options with little effort. They'll last for ever too & they're cheap. Just my 2 cents.
-my 200th post here too btw

That's fine but, the top question was "What would make the perfect Ecig?"
I took that to mean "In my opinion" which I gave.

As far as costing more to have many compatible tops, I only need one at the moment and that'd be one for the cartomizers.

I'm aware of the size of the Altsmoke adapters, I have two of them. I got them to first try out the cartomizers on the 510 adapter (I was a 510 user). Found out I liked the Cartos and am for the most part using them exclusively. I also got a 901 / carto adapter for my current PV because I didn't like the extra adapter, the extra length, screwed too far one way or the other, adjusting airflow, etc... I prefer a PV adapter that fits what I'm using.

I don't wear three pairs of socks with my shoes. I buy the correct size shoe.

If extra pieces, length, adapters, socks doesn't bother you, Great!!

Obviously we have different opinions of what makes a nice / custom PV.

I don't know if it could be done but a MOD that is light(maybe carbon fiber or titanium) and just big enough to fit a 18650 batt and that vapes at 3.7v with a button to make it vape at 5v users choice. You would probably need to use CR123A LI-PO also not sure if you could get 5v out of a 18650 and if you could it probably would not last long enough. Also I want a battery gauge on the side small lcd screen that tells me how many hits I have left on the battery. And it needs to hold at least 1ml of juice in the cart. Or I could just get a BB or a Black SB and be happy. Danno

BrockJ-
Sorry, dude, your absolutely right. Everyone's entitled to their opinion & I love such freedom, especially on a thread so opinion based. My B. :) I didn't realize you already had some adapters & thought you thought they were too big to bother buying a device over. Just wanted to let ya know how small & simple they were n stuff.

You guys at Altsmoke have pretty close to the perfect Mods already, but the what I would like is 2 fold: 1) a passthru for the SB for 5 volt, like the one for the BB, which leads me to 2) if the the PT could charge the batt, so you could simply unplug the PT cord and go with a fresh charge, instead of switching bottoms. Don't get me wrong, I am in NO way .....ing, I just LOVE both the SB and BB, just what I would like to see. Only other possible detail, I love the way the SB and BB stand up so steadily for dripping, but that is harder with the PT. I actually like the cord where it is, I just have been thinking of maybe a 'dripping stand' for the BB that would hold it upright for easy drips. Just my 2 cents!
