Hello all the wife and I are taking a much much much needed vacation on 12-29

6 nights in a ridiculously lavish resort in Jamaica ..... Food, Drinks and a Personal Butler included. My wife went all out planning this one.

Anywho I've been struggling for the last 3 months to decide what vape gear to take.
We're getting down to the wire now and I still have no clue what to do.

If I were confident everything would come back home with me it would be simple.

VV Woodvil
Chalice atty
juice
Little bit of Wick/wire
Charger and 4 18350 batts

But damm thats a $350 + rig there and more than the money I love that set-up as much as my dogs (Thats a lot). I have visions of going all kung-fu on some Jamaican Cop'r if they try to take it from me for some reason.
Detained in another country would really kill the vacation buzz

So a couple months ago I started trying some cheaper stuff .... I had to go out and buy it all because its pretty high end here at the desk of BH

I've found that eGo twists can hold their own kind of with either the mini vivi-nova or Kanger T3 bottom coil ....

But its not the same .... Ah who am I kidding its not even close to the same.

Still an eGo at 4+ volts with a min nova is 10X better and 20X more convienent than the gear that got me off the stinkies to begin with almost 3 years ago 12/09 ( Yay )

What would you do if you were me .... We have adopted our grand kids 2 & 5 so this is probably the last vacation for just the two of us until 2028 .... I would sure hate to have vape trouble bring me down.

I really don't need to vape anymore I just enjoy it so much And vacations are about enjoyment.

Have any REOnauts vaped in Jamaica before ??

Would any of you take your favorite REO rig if you were me ??

Maybe just a grand and some shorty cartos ?? At least a Grand can be replaced pretty easy. My Cocobolo masterpieces are one of a kind ya know!

Its crazy were less than two weeks away and I haven't even thought about what close or shoes .... etc to take but I've spent hours planning the vape list and I'm no closer than when i started except for buying a bunch of stuff I may never use.

im going away on sunday to prague for christmas. i dont think we have a butler per say but we do have the option of a limo from the airport to the hotel . chose against it due to embarrassment. the wife and i are far from high class citizens , we just decided to splash out and live it for a time .

but anyway ive been thinking of the same thing. and ive decided against taking any vaping supplies with me. itll be one thing being caught with it. but its a completely different kettle of fish trying to explain that what they see isnt actually a highteck explosives devise, and the liquid is not actually a biochemical compound intend of liquifying the braincells of anyone within 500ft.

I haven't been to Jamaica, but I've been to Puerto Vallarta 3 times since I started vaping, and have never had a problem. If you really have concerns, then I'd suggest donating the trip to the first forum member to post on your thread whose name contains "piano". ;-)

Unfortunately both. Checked luggage on the trip to the island. I've had items stolen from my carry on on the way home. It's sad, but not surprising at all. It's an extremely poor country. I would likely take a couple of twists and tanks. bare minimum to get buy.

If it were me, I'd be inclined to settle for the eGo and the Nova as I'd be so distraught if my precious Reos were confiscated or stolen or lost. And then I'd be dreaming about the pleasure of being reunited with them I got home.

A sort of present you and your wife are having in Jamaica and then another present waiting for you at home.

I'm an err on the side of caution person. I'd take some cheap stuff and leave my good stuff (REOs) at home if I can't be sure they'll make the journey with me safely. And along the lines of Oldbroads thoughts, then you've got something nice waiting for you at home.

I have a hornet coming so I will take it with my mini and some wire and string!!
What are they going to do with wire and string anyway? LOL
Batteries, charger and juice will need to go with me too...that's about it. I think I will be fine!
No VV special Reos though...just not worth them getting yanked or lost.
