Depends on many things-
functionaliy- does it wick well to last drop is a major- leaks at all during travel and one not paying attention to it's position-reusable?

Current carts that I buy now max price are usually 5 for 1.99 filled.
Yours not knowing anything ummm buying unfilled ummm I'd probably try um at 5 for 12.99 delivered. Most people would probably spend more is my guess.

This girls likes her pennies to double up

The Idea is to have an Autofill in a small package , the design is that the red area is a small bottle that feeds the cart thru a hole in the side of the cart , pressing the bottle will feed the cart stuffing .
It is sealed but it might feed the stuffing at the wrong angle ?? unknown , I'm sure a small valve could be fitted in the hole to prevent this ,
As far as to the LAST drop there would always be residule liquid in the bottle ( how much is unknown ? ) but @ 1.6ml thats maybe a 1/2 day supply and you could carry a spare for all day ( this would vary depending on the vaper !)

As far as cost it would not be real cheap , the cost to make the molds for a product like this is HIGH ! , and the sales would be low so !

Anyho just looking for feedback about something like this THANKS !!!!!!!!!!!!:D:D:D

BTW this is a refillable design !

You keep saying VERY expensive. What range? Would it be serviceable or would it cost a lot for a new atty etc? If I ever find the perfect mod or model I would be willing to pay pretty well for it. It was also be a big bonus to have it made somewhere with good business practices and quality control(read: not China).

Lets put it this way if 10 people bought it they would cost $350 each !! for 1 size ! , Rapid prototyping is the only way to effectively make a prototype and that is VERY expensive as well.

They would have to have a BIG market to be profitable

PS: If they were made in the USA they would be $1250 each !!

Couldn't you use a 3D printer to make the prototype and make the molds off that? I know having something "made" with a 3D printer is reasonable (couple hundred dollars versus the thousands it used to cost).

I'm not in the mechanical field nor have I ever manufacturered a product so I'm probably not thinking of a lot of steps but just thought I'd throw it out there as something worth looking into?

Rapid prototyping can use several forms 3d printer is one , you cannot make a mold from them that I know of , for injection molding the molds are machined billet stainless steel ( normally ) this is where the cost is
so for 901 , 801 , 510 etc. etc. etc. each one needs its own mold !! $12,000 or so !!

PS: I was looking into the check valve like Scottbee made

If it was the end all be all of personal vapping accessories then I'd be interested at that price...but I would definitely wait until it was well proven. Have you tried looking for a sponsor? There's a lot of money to be made in this industry and if there is a design idea that could be the latest-greatest PV I would think suppliers would be tripping over each other for exclusive rights to it?

Great Idea dude... glad to see a lot of "thinkers" on ECF. :) One problem I see is the delivery method. Like some mentioned above, its going to cause leakage. *lol* There needs to be some kind of pumping valve or measuring system. Most of the time when you top off, at least for the 901, its about 4-8 drops. If you can get a system that just implements 2-3 drops every time the device is activated, you would have a killer product. Anything more than that and it will be a dud. I can see these selling for around $5 each or like $15 for a 5 pack.
