What would you suggest for improving an eGo-T setup?

Hey everyone. I've ordered and eGo-T setup for both me and my fiance to start vaping. We have 3 batteries each, chargers, extra atties, tanks, ect, coming. And of course juice. I'm not looking to upgrade the system yet as we haven't even had a chance to try them, still on the way, but what things could we look at to possibly improve our experience with the eGos?

Welcome to ECF.....!!!!

all the above are great suggestions for 'after' the starter kit (in my opinion, ((very important)) but it is my OPINION). I started on the EGO T and found that just for MYSELF that I needed something more. What is right for ME would not be right for someone else. I may sound a bit self centered in this journey but it is just that MY journey. Now on to your journey; try different options because so many are available to you. Of course we no one want to see you make poor choices however they are your choices and your choices are going to be the best experience.

I am on a MOD now and love it - it wasn't the spendy, fancy, and all the bells a whistles and 24k flash that some chase after but it works for ME. If this sounds like it is all about ME.... well it IS....

My point is this - make choices you feel could work based on what your needs, your budget, and your overall satisfaction. The only way this ever happens is for one to experiement and experience this on thier own. You have found a wealth of information here, use it to your advantage..!!!

I started with an eGo-T a little over two weeks ago. The little plastic tanks that come with it are just awful. Truly. I was still on analogs at the time because I just couldn't deal with the little tanks. They leak, they are a pain to refil (I am a lady that has long fingernails and getting under the plastic lip is a .....) and the draw on them is just too tight. The batteries however, kick .....

I quickly dumped them and picked up a few SmokTech Dual Coil Cartomizers. They were just under $3 each and made my vaping experience SOOO much better. Ive since purchased some cartomizer Tanks and some clearomizers as well, but yeah... I hated those little tanks.

Edit: wanted to post this real quick. I wish I had done some more research on the ego-t before I purchased it, I would have ordered a cartomizer / clearomizer or something else at the time of purchase. This review is exactly how I felt with those stupid tanks :(

Well, I've been using those "awful little plastic tanks" for several months and love them - no leaking, no burnt or dry hits, the caps easily pop off with a dental pick, small screwdriver, straightened out end of a large paperclip, or similar, the draw seems just right to me, and I get clouds of flavorful vapor. I've also tried Boge LR cartos and the Stardust on my eGo batteries and then gone right back to the tanks. I really wanted to like the Stardust but the draw seemed very tight, flavors seemed muted, and then on day 2 it started cracking around the base. The Boge cartos took forever to fill because of how slow VG juices soak into the fill (I'm sensitive to PG and so can only use VG juices), required popping off the cap every 20 mins or so for topping off (also a slooow process), and had much warmer vapor than I like (hot lemonade anyone?). So to each their own, I guess...

Sounds like a great first set up :vapor: If you try some cartomizers and maybe those C e2 things or even a carto tank you will be sure to love one of them. Maybe you will even love the tanks that came with it. You have the right idea in exploring all your options IMO. Welcome to ECF. Don't be a stranger. Just throw out any questions you have. People here seem to love to help each other out. Then in a few months after a crash course on vaping look back at some of your 1st posts and laugh. I just did that today. Good luck

I'm sure others have said it, but ANYTHING 510 standard is better. Xl cartomizers, clearomizers, carto tanks, ce2, 3 and 4s etc. Nothing is as disgusting as the crime against humanity you hold in your hand. Vendors who sell ego-c and ego-t, especially vendors who recommend them should be firebombed into non-existance.

Huh? Anyway ... the stardust conical clear 1.6ml cartomisers in low resistance are excellent as are the big 4ml 1.5 ohm Ego Mega Dual Coil Cartomizers (EMDCC). The former are great for easily changing juice/flavor. The latter are the least hassle best overall vape. I use all kinds of gear and my favorite is a Vapage Vmod XL for reasons that are beyond discussing here. But my wife's eGo battery with a EMDCC just keeps on going. They make great vapor and taste very clean. They seem to last her about 2week average before needing replacement due to tight draw and degraded taste. She drips in 0.5 -1 ml of juice once or a couple of times a day. She rotates the battery twice a day. Hard to beat.

Thanks for the ideas, everyone. I'm looking at all of these now to see how and where I can get them as cheaply and quickly as possible. As our eGos haven't arrived yet, if I order Canadian, they might all get here at the same time. Its all very confusing, though. Any good links to explain the products you're recommending?

Thanks for the opinion. I actually have done my research. I saw that video before I ordered. I know a lot of people don't like the eGos, but I know quite a few people do, and I'm happy with it being our starting point. That's also why I'm asking about potential add-on/improvements now. This way I can order now, and hold them in reserve if we don't want or need them right away. Or I can have the ideas, and order as soon as we feel we need them.

Honestly, I have no idea why you felt this was appropriate or necessary to post to a newbie who hasn't even received their first PV yet. I'm confident in my purchase and decision, even if we do have the eGos for our reasons. Aren't they better than cigarettes? Aren't they better than the over-priced mall kiosk versions? Why would you try to make me doubt a decision that has already been made.

Don't listen to him. I have owned every type of Joye Ego in the last 2 years and never had any problems. I did start using the Clearomizers with my ego batteries instead of the standard Ego tanks because they tended to leak a little. I have not tried the rubber caps they provide/sell now, which are supposed to help. But if you DO decide they leak a little much for you, for $5 you can try a clearomizer with your ego batteries and charger.

NO WORRIES! You can vape away on what you already bought!

I think maybe there is a misunderstanding here. It wasn't my intention at all to imply that you haven't done your research, you obviously have. Coming here before you even received your PV proves that to me! You asked for ideas for improvements, and I was just saying the only improvement to make is a different 'top'. Im really happy with my ego-T purchase too, and for many the tanks work great, just not for me. The eGo is great because it has a standard 510 connection and you can get soo many different setups for it, it's unlimited! There are soooo many different opinions here, and it's all subjective. :) So far, I am really digging a clearomizer configuration. I have a few Fluxomizers and Vision Stone Tankomizer (I think thats the name?) and I enjoy them a lot. The people I work with swear by a Tank/Cartomizer setup. It's all trial and error!

You asked for links to explain the products we are recommending. I like GrimGreen and Pbusardo youtube reviews. They really helped me determine which items to order. I don't personally know if there is a list explaining the difference between atty's, cartomizers, Tanks or Clearomizers, but the videos did help me a bit.

Because everyone is so different, it would probably be best to purchase one of each. Cartomizer / Tank & Cartomizer / Atty with a Drip Tip / Clearomizer or CE2 and see what you like best. Heck you might even like the Type A or Type B tanks you got with your kit best.

Happy Vaping!! Let us know how you do with them! When are they going to arrive?

Obviously you have very strong opinions about the eGo-C and eGo-T but expressing them with such inflammatory language quite frankly just makes you come across as rather unhinged and so only undercuts your argument. Imagine, too, what a totally useless shouting match this forum would quickly devolve into if everyone decided to express their opinions with similarly violent and extremist language.

I definitely picked up the rubber caps to help with the reported possibility of leaking. Also looking at the Stardusts, and LR atties to try possibly.

I will let you know for sure. Thanks for the info. Hopefully later this week, as some of the packages cleared customs on Thursday.

I agree entirely.
