flip your ground and v-out.

+1

The one I have (looking at front, pins pointing down) from left to right is:

Vin Vout GND Ctrl

If you are not using the Ctrl pin, check the datasheet to find out if you need a pull-up resistor, or how it behaves when floating. Without a part # that's the best we can tell ..........

Oh, and if you do use the ctrl pin (so you can use a small low-amp button), you usually need a pull-down resistor to ground.

I love you guys haha you two were correct.on the pin layout t thank you

On the controlled pin it can be floating with no performance change.
I put the momentary on the voltage in wire so i don't need to resist it.

Just need to wait for sealed connections to dry and i can KB weld it all up so it'll look clean ill post picture of finished tomorrow

Heh, did this part happen? You definitely got job 1 out of the way, no more dangly wires. I like the recessed light. If it is sturdy, vapes consistently, then let it be :)

Amen, my first box was unsightly itself, I didn't have the cojones to post a pic of it on here, but I used the heck out of it until I made a few better ones.

I got the idea from a Guy on YouTube he calls it the detonator, but i tried to form the button to my grip instead of just strait upward. I love this thing I think 5v is my sweet spot

I just found out my light flickers if its low so I made a ghetto indicator without knowing it haha.

I want to make a ball 5v mod now haha
