Never heard of such a thing. Splenda, like the sugar substitute in the store? All fluffed up with filler to make it easy to use in food?

I wouldn't try it. Not crazy enough to do so, but I always encourage others to attempt things I never would. (Usually ask that they give me a moment to get my camera ready though.)

I do use a home diluted Splendex which in its pure form is too sweet for even a drop to be usable. (For me at least)
I also use 10% EM solution. (AKA: Cotton Candy Flavoring from TFA.)

Lol I'm usually the Guy doing the stupid idea to....

Can anyone tell me the ingredients if known that are unvapable??

If not I'm going to be trying it in a grape flavor I made(tastes like grape seeds...) when I get a new 510 battle that Bianca was nice enough to help me out with
(I owe her for that, eventhough she says I dont)

Supposedly you can extract sucralose from splenda with pure grain alcohol. The non-sucralose stuff will settle to the bottom and you can pour the top off. I havn't tried it or heard of anyones results from trying this.

You're better off buying pure sucralose and mixing your own IMHO.

I use 10% EM in PGA rather than PG.

Dysfoundation, if you'd like me to send you a premixed bottle just PM your addy. Can send some sucralose too if you'd like. No reason for Hoosier to have to get out his camera. lol

Bumping old post.

It's called fractional crystalization, you dilute your stuff (whatever it is) in a suitable solvent (water, alcohol, petrol, depleted uranium etc etc)
Boil the solution till all dissolves, then let it cool, crystals or powder will form on the bottom of the beaker. Discard the solvent and re-dissolve the crystals/powder and perform the same steps 3-4 times.
After that let the powder/crystals dry and you will have a purified product.

Chemists do this all the time and yields a pretty clean product.
