This is going to sound stupid but whats a bump and why do people do it? Maybe I should bump and don't know it LOL

When you reply to a post, it brings it back to the top of the forum. -- When you look at the forum, everything is sorted by recent posts first. So, a new post (just a "bump") keeps the thread on the first page longer.
