Ok I said I'd revisit this thread and post my observations back when I first opened it, well that time is now.
I'm vaping on single-coil cartos, for me personally I have not experienced any great benefits from dual-coils. "Ohhhh, they bring out the taste of your juice! They mow your lawn, groom your dogs and make you breakfast in the morning!" ehhh, everything is subjective, most especially this mini-review, but all I ever seem to get out of dual coils is that they kill my batts faster.
My setup is a ProVari which I use with 3.0Ω Boge cartos, usually at 4.2-5.5v depending on the juice and a Super T P+18650 which I use with a mix of SmokTech 1.7Ω "resurrector" cartos and Boge 2.0Ω. I am using tanks on both of these.
In my personal Perfect 555 quest, I tried:
Backwoods Brew 555 and 555 Exotic. I like the 555 Exotic best, but won't be ordering from them again because every time I smoke these juices, I wind up with a massive headache a few hours later. The first time I didn't think it was related to the juice, but every time I re-try this experiment, what happens for me is the same. Vape BB 555 or 555 Exotic, wind up with headache a few hours later. I am guessing that I'm allergic to some ingredient they are using. This is in no way a dis of BWB, they get many really glowing reviews and with the exception of people ranting about finding dog hair in the e-juice, nobody else I've found online has mentioned getting headaches after vaping.
Whatever the case, BWB is not for me. Next.
NLV - I really wanted to try both Bounty Hunter and Line Rider, but haven't been able to order either one. I won't repeat my observations since I already posted them here

I am totally fine with a company taking my order and making it clear that the product may not ship for 2-4 weeks or whatever, because then I can just order it and forget about it until it shows up in my mailbox. The whole paradigm of having to stalk a thread on a forum to find out the 6 hour window of time during which I can order something, until it's sold out again for however many weeks, says a lot about the popularity of the juices in question, but for me personally it is way too annoying to deal with. I pass until NLV manages to hire more people or make larger batches or do whatever they need to do to have, ya know, a store online, that's open most of the time, where I can pick stuff and order it.
VS (VaporStation) Frisco: I tried this and... it tastes ok, but really weird. Not like a 555 at all. Looking at their website apparently they screwed up their most recent batch, which would have been what I purchased, so I guess I should try again in a few months and see what it's supposed to vape like.
From their website: "15ml and 30ml sizes may have a batch error; potentially missing an ingredient. We are discounting these bottles until this current batch is out of stock. The flavor is still really nice, just not the same. Our next batch is expected toward the end of this month."
I will probably revisit VS in the future, since they seem to have a variety of tobacco blends, which mostly get good reviews.
Prime 15 is incredibly awesome. Perception is a weird thing, because before Dream mentioned it in this thread, I never really thought about Prime as a 555. Halo just happens to make a whole series of tobacco-tasting juices which I personally like.

Except for one teeny, tiny thing... I don't know what Halo mixes their stuff with, but they have another flavor called Tribeca that I really enjoy. When I vape it, that's the one that makes everybody around me go "oh, you started smoking again." It has a cigarette-type smell that lingers. I'm ok with that.
Prime 15 scores a 10/10 on the 555 taste/flavor/everything scale. The problem I've re-discovered with it, and the reason I threw what I had left of it back in a drawer a long time ago is: the smell. It's not a smoke or cigarette smell, I'm not sure how exactly to describe it except kind of like dirt mixed with the scent of 50 sweaty socks in a pile, blended with some mold. I'm trying not to exaggerate, but the smell is incredibly awful. Being a guy and used to cigarette smoke all over everything and not really smelling anything at all for years, it wouldn't bother me except, in my experience anyway, any girl who gets within 5 feet of you will mention it and remind you of how awful it truly is. Yes, thanks, I did take a shower today and change my clothes, I'm sorry for the expression of total distate on your face, that's not so much the response I was hoping for. GF hates it. Girls in general also hate it. If I've been married for 50 years and hadn't had any sex in 30, probably I wouldn't care, but at this stage in my life it is definitely not for me and goes way back into some drawer where I'll forget about it for another year before throwing it out.
KickBass Vapor 555: I tried this and I really,
really like it. It has a nice blend of tobacco flavor and nutty undertones. It tastes like whatever my brain has learned to associate with "555" and I've re-upped on this one.
Out of everything I tried this time around, KBVs 555 wins for me.
Thanks to everybody who offered me input when I was going on my current 555 quest to find The One that's making me the happiest.
I definitely plan on re-trying VSs Frisco, and eventually trying out the NLV juices one of these years when they're finally available in some kind of semi-convenient manner.
