I've had nothing but a bad, unpleasant experience with the kanger protanks/aerotanks. Heads last a day then burn, don't wick and need intentional flooding to stay wet. I need recommendations from seasoned tank vapors, what product is consistent, heads lasts a week (maybe wishful thinking), and will do its job with minimal tinkering?

I've been hearing good things about the Subtank Mini with the 1.2Ohm coils. I'm not sure the Atlantis has coils that high in resistance, but both have massively opened up juice channels to improve juice flow.

I'm not sure of their durability. I've always been the kind of person that says, 'If you want it done right, do it yourself.' Get a Lemo.

Are you suggesting rebuildable atomizers? Because I will go down that path if I have to, I just want to make sure there isn't something worth using that uses cheap coil packs.

from experiance - "cheap coil pack" tyle tanks/clearomizers always under-perform unless you tinker with them, via re coiling/wicking, drilling airflow or anything else of the sort.

if you are "destined" to go down the coil pack route, i sudjest a subtank/mini(NOT the nano) - they come with RDA heads so if you ever feel the urge to try tinkering, you have the option to ;)

I am also searching for the same, I use VG so the wicking is an issue for me to, looking at the Glass Vision V-Fate Nova 2.0ml and 3.5ml over at myvaporstore.com, most reviews seem to be positive, I am new to it but maybe top coil is better? I heard you need to swish them around to wick occasionally but no leaking it seems, still looking into it though, maybe someone more sure can chime in about them, tanks are only 5.99 there and come with an extra coil though so thats neat. price wise at least, glass is nice also...

For every day/on the run vaping I'd choose the Nautilus. Works for some folks, for others it doesn't. But I'm quite happy with it so far. Get a powerful device such as an iStick 30w to match, you'll enjoy it much better. For the most part, flooded means thin liquid/too much atmospheric pressure/little power/holes too closed. Playing a little and being patient works in the long run. Takes a while to have the best vape.

All tanks require sucking! On topic though the subtank is a great choice. It comes with a rebuildable deck and can use stock .5 out 1.2 ohm coils. So you could get wire and learn to build coils and eventually buy an RTA.

I had my kanger coils die relatively quickly as well. It would last 2-3 days then needed to be dryburned. Dryburning would give me an extra half day before I'd have to put in a brand new one.

Not that $1 for a coil is really that expensive, but it was irritating, so I forced myself to learn how to rebuild them. You'll also be saving quite a bit of money, and basically learn the fundamentals of rebuildable atomizers at the same time.

The Kanger Protank 2 single coil is the absolute easiest coil to rebuild ever. It took me an hour of finicking around to finish my first one, but now I can rebuild one in under 5 mins (just timed myself last week). Definitely worth the time to learn.

I've got multiple Kayfuns and still use my protanks for secondary flavors as I think they hit plenty well. Tastes better, lasts longer, and you can chain vape on it without getting a burned taste by the third hit that i hated. I use rayon wicks that don't get burned so quickly like silica in stock heads.

I think the subtank coils are something like $3-4 a piece, so that's pretty expensive. I used to go through 3-4 coils a week. Now I go through like 1 a month.

I have three of the Kanger subtanks and bought two packs of 1.2Ω heads that preformed pretty damn well. I rebuild the heads now with 27ga @3mm with KGD and they are doing well. I surprised by how much I like these tanks.

The K4, eXpromizer and Taifun GTII are easy rebuildables and also produce a great vape. I recoil once a month a re-wick as needed. The K4's are EHPro and Tobeco's and both are nice for clones with the EHPro being overall better (for me).

RTA's a convenient and save you some money. You can also build to your vaping style.

Just curious, why not the Nano? That's what I have and I love it. What is the difference between that and the mini for instance? I was going to grab one more.

Yes you have to.
It's the only way to ensure consistency; you never know what you're going to get in a pack of replacement coils.

Get started with a simple cheap rda; on the rda you will end up figuring out a suitable coil and wicking, then later on you get a rebuildable tank, and you build that same coil in the tank.

Subtank Mini for the following reasons:

1) You can either build your own coils with the RBA deck or buy prepackaged coils.

2) You don't have to subohm if you don't want.

3) It's build quality is excellent.

4) It's RBA deck is the easiest deck I've built on (much easier than even a Kayfun).

5) It's flavor is excellent (not as good as some RTA's, but competitive).

If you want a straight RTA, then check into the Lemo 2 which is due to come out shortly.
