inexpensive = Eleaf GS Air

awesome = Subtank Mini

How much more awesome, 3 times more awesome? Would both be alright with 100 VG juices? Just looking for something that wicks well and doesn't leak, not a cloud monster, personally don't care if it has giant clouds of whisps of vapor. The Eleaf is a 3rd of the price is all. Both would work on a Smoktech VV ego right?

Are you suggesting rebuildable atomizers? Because I will go down that path if I have to, I just want to make sure there isn't something worth using that uses cheap coil packs.

I was suggesting a rebuildable. It's a super easy route to go down and the Lemo will give you nothing but positive experiences. However, if you would like to stick to replaceable coils, I would at least try the Subtank or Atlantis with their higher ohm coils (unless you're interested in sub-ohm-ing).

Subtank is totally worth it, but I don't have much to compare it to. I'm coming from single coil protanks lol. I got a subtank nano and a genitank mega. I actually really like the genitank too, but subtank is in another league. Getting subtank mini tonight for my new key lime pie..mmmmmmm. Then I'm all set with 3 nice tanks and my mvp for a LONG time.

I don't sub, I'm a flavor chaser, generally use 50/50.. over the years, tried first run Evods and T3s, carto tanks, Reos.. to me, the Subtank Mini is what I've been searching for.

the GS Air can reportedly handle high VG- there's a huge thread (on my phone, don't know how to link). the coils are just as inexpensive, and it's a great tank!

there's also a large thread on the Subtank Mini - with the RBA included, get the wicking right and I'm sure you can use your high VG liquids!

I've never used that battery, so I would look into it's limitations regarding any of the Subtanks. also might look funny due to their sizes. the GS Air uses a 1.5 dual coil, AFAIK should be alright!

The smoktech I have goes to 5 volts and 12 watts, is a 1.5 coil really alright? The GS Air looks nice for 10 dollars.... :)

First of all I love my Subtank Mini, It has great flavor and really performs well, secondly,...... if you want an RBA DO NOT buy the Subtank, PRO: the deck is really easy to build on, CONS: You can end up with a bad insulator, which will melt, You can buy a new RBA deck with the good insulator, but pretty much everywhere online is sold out at the moment, and I'm not sure if I just wicked it too much but my airflow sucked with the RBA deck (I only got to do 1 build and the deck melted within 24 hours), I was really disappointed because I weighed all the cons and still took the risk, Although I like my Subtank, I really wanted to get into RBA's which this was my foot in the door, but now I'm not even going to buy a new RBA deck, I think I'll just save up for a Billow or Lemo, Because from what I did get to enjoy off of the RBA wasn"t that impressive and I just have this fustration with the Tank. But other than that the Tank is great with the Prebuilt coil heads, they last and perform quite well.

Any Subtank you buy now will have the new insulator so it's not a problem.

I thought they changed the insulator material in the rda deck long ago to some kind of peak material? At least that's what I saw in a video.

They've updated the insulator twice. First revision was to a clear insulator (which one of my 2 mini's has) and that withstands MOST juices, just not the ultra harsh ones. The 2nd revision was to a dark beige/brownish PEEK insulator which withstands anything.

I've had nothing but a bad, unpleasant experience with the kanger protanks/aerotanks. Heads last a day then burn, don't wick and need intentional flooding to stay wet. I need recommendations from seasoned tank vapors, what product is consistent, heads lasts a week (maybe wishful thinking), and will do its job with minimal tinkering?
I say get the subtank mini. I am planning to get it myself. Even if the coils aren't up to your liking, it comes with a rebuild able section that you can use.
