I can give you one Jerry so you can see :) Don't fret -- what Sarge giveth he can also taketh away (delete from the system).

Your record of rule reminders and infractions will show on a new tab in your profile and can only be viewed by the staff (and yourself) it isn't public.

Sarge, that's not a bad idea. Then when anyone has questions about infractions, I will be able to answer them, from personal experience. Seriously.

Edit: I got it Sarge and thanks. I bet that no one ever thanked you for an "infraction", before.

Just remember that a rule reminder or even an infraction is not the end of the world. What it does is give you an indication of where you went astray and creates a paper trail for the staff so that we can keep track of the issue. Hell you should see Spaky's list of infractions - it is long and detailed and he ended up being put on the staff. I think Angus chose that as a better punishment for him than being banned :)

With that said, take Jerry as an example-- really take him, his wife said its OK :)

He is an example of an average normal ECF user (okay maybe not normal but it is just an example!) In over 3 years he hasn't received any rule reminders or infractions. A little common sense goes a long way toward "surviving" ECF. A quick scan of the rules regarding shilling and signatures, profanity, explict language/images, Copyright (if you like to post article extracts) and a little application of Netiquette = clear sailing at ECF.
