I bought a protank 2 a couple of weeks ago...well it worked great at first but after a few days its started leaking out of the bottom coil into my battery....I'd clean it up, completely disassembling it and putting it back together, it worked for a few hours then the same situation occurred. I even googled and watched youtube videos on this issue and none of the recommendations remedied this issue. Thinking maybe I got a bad egg I purchased another one on friday (when it works it works great!.) Well low and behold the same problems started happening; except the new one also accumulates liquid underneath the drip tip! Im fed up with this crap and dont want to give kangertech any more of my money, so I'm asking some more seasoned folks for a recommendation on what would work better tank wise, its been very frustrating! Thanks ya'll!

Carto tanks. IBTanked. More expensive but so worth it. Baditude has a blog somewhere about cartotanks. Or you tube. I was using Kanger PT2 for almost 6 mo. I knew they weren't the greatest set up, but they are the best for my $$. But if you can spend a few more $, you will get a lot more pleasure from cartotanks. No flooding, no gurgling, no leaking, no burnt tastes, no jacking with coils. Like I said it took me a little over 6 mo to find cartotanks, but so glad i did.

I would have to agree on the aspire Nautilus. I still love my protank 2's, especially since I started rebuilding my coils. I went in to my local vape shop to get an aerotank base today, but they didn't have them. So I got the Nautilus. I've only had it for a few hours, but it's an amazing tank and I think I'll be getting more

OK...you can buy an Aerotank base and put that on the Protank you already have ..5 dollars. Or...you can get a Nautilus..etc. But...these do use dual coil and hopefully your system is OK with that. (Dont know what you have). I took apart the head and single coiled it with cotton as SOP and it works great.

Well I'm rather new too, but I've spent so much money trying to find a juice I don't have the money to go for a big tank. However, a member recommended a Nautilus; instead I bought the Aspire ET-S (bottom dual coil) I costs between $6-8 and it is terrific! By that I mean it is terrific if you are looking in the less than $30.00 price range. If you are looking in the price range of a Kayfun; I can't help. But back to the Aspire ET-s No leaking, no gurgling, no flooding, glass tank, and easy to change coils. I currently have two Protank ll minis, One Protank ll, 1 vivi Nova mini v10, and 3 of the aspires. They outshine the others in every way. But as I said I don't want a big tank, because I'm still looking for a juice to put in it.

Must have a damaged seal in the bottom. Maybe it was over tightened. Want to have the best tank on the go in my opinion. Get the Kanger adjustable air flow valve for the bottom. You discard the bottompiece of the tank and add the new piece. I love my Protanks and even rebuild my coils for them. Super easy.

I have heard of leaking issues, though I have yet to have any myself, aside from the occasional "over-fill", which is my user-error!

Weird... with all 4 of my mini's I pack the juice in with a plunger and never had leak from full to dead empty. The PT I always leaked when it got low and the PT III leaked whenever it felt like it.

That is strange. These tanks can be finicky at times, I'm sure we've all found out that out a time or two in our vaping history!
