What's everyones favorite flavoring brand?

I am fairly new to DIY juice. I'm dabbling with Cappela's and Lor-anns. I'm sticking strictly to the basics right now as well (simple calculator method with single flavors). I cant seem to find anything I really love. And some flavors arent mixing well at all. Example - Cappela's strawberry/banana mix, the flavoring is seperating from the VG/NIC mixture completely. Am I doing something wrong or do these flavor brands suck? AHHHHHHH please help LOL.

hi Jeff. I would say you're doing something wrong. Oil and water don't mix. Are your flavorings PG based? Oil based flavors aren't for vaping. You might find some recipes, ingredients, manufacturers, suppliers and other stuff in these links:

I am relatively new to diy also and have to say I love tfa, their flavors are clean and not chemical tasting, also nicely concentrated. I have used a few fa also but otherwise I haven't ventured into many others. I got some good recipe ideas from the diy section and went from there. I have to say I've had more failures than success, so hang in there. I now have a great adv and a couple others almost right.

go to bull city vapors and look at their fit concentrates. If you sort by brand and then sort each brand by best sellers you get a really good idea of what flavors are good. If you like tobacco check out their hangsen or inawera offerings.

The only Loran's flavor I consistently see many experienced diyers using is the cream cheese icing and perhaps the lemonade. The Lorann's I tried were retched. I am sure they have some other decent flavors.

Capella sweet strawberry vanilla custard cinnamon Danish swirl French vanilla sweet cream are great flavors.

You have to remember that we are using food flavors for other purposes. Sometime a flavor is just gross.

The separation is a completely different issue. That shouldn't be happening.

Since your mixing single flavors to start. You may need to know the difference between a standalone flavor and a mixer. Some standalones and flavors can be used either way.
You probably know the areas where you want to try standalones like, deserts, fruit, tobacco....etc. Suggest you look at TFA (example) and pick a flavor and read the reviews.

Yes it's PG. It's Capella's Strawberry Banana mix. It's mixed with VG, and VG based NIC. Every other flavor I've ever done has not done this. Clean, sterile area and supplies. This flavoring just wont mix. In all it's ok though I mixed a strawberry banana blend another way, and it was great freshly made. I guess my main question I should have stayed with, was my original header post. (What's everyones favorite flavoring brand?) My bad, I went on a rant about an issue I was having with a certain flavor. LOL. I do that sometimes. Anyway thanks for the links Sir2fyablyNutz, you'rve been a great help, all of you have. I mostly use Inawera. They do have some gaps in their line-up but are filling them in nicely. ie creams and such. I fill in those spots with FA.
