the center pin on the coil assembly needs ajusting.
gently pull it out a little.
i have come across this problem when changing out the wick and coil assembly's.
i even had to swap out the center pin from the old to the new part.
identical parts one worked the other didn't.
i assume its a quality control problem in assembly, there jamming the pin in to hard.
also be very gentle when cleaning, the coils break easily.

regards
mike

The first MVP V2 I bought had the same issue. Some devices would work, some wouldn't, including the iClear 30 that came with the kit. Pulling the pin on the topper sometimes worked, but if I took the device off and immediately replaced it, the MVP wouldn't fire. And, yes, all the devices fired on my Spinner. It was all very frustrating. However....I bought another MVP V2 recently from 101Vape and it has been firing and working consistently...except for the iClear 30 that came with it! I don't care, tho....I'm much more a carto tank vaper than anything else. So, the upshot is that there may be an issue with the center pin on the MVP V2 being too low (most likely) for some toppers to make good contact. After trying many things, my solution was to buy another MVP V2 (I do love the little thing!) and, voila!, problem solved!

About PINS that need to be Pulled - Shoved... Twisted and Maligned..
99% of the time... There's a SIMPLE FIX IT... available...
Using a little piece of CLOTH THREAD... and some FINGER NAIL CLIPS...

Now after you go over and read this... and put it to use... or not?
As a thank you
for the many people right here in this E-Cig Forum that have helped me
and so many others... I sure would appreciate your sharing this information
when possible.

It is that little air gap between your pins on the Topper and MVP.
Electricity doesn't jump so well at low voltages. Now Lightening is a different animal. :D

Only 3 things to check in a functional Device.
Good Ground - external threading
Good Positive Contact - Center pins
Good coil - No shorts/breaks

If you have this you are not delivering power to the device. - internal Mod issue

Thanks for all the great suggestions but it's still happening. Pulled the coils down, swapped out the coils and neither worked. The iClear 16 works on the Twist but not the MVP. What a mystery.....

I got you and easy fix for your IClear 16... I have to laugh at myself... because it was right
in front of me all the time... and it took me a whole dang day to figure it out... oh well such if life...

Forget about pulling down any PIN... it has to be done from the inside...

Anyhowzers... it turned out to be pretty simple... here's the FIX IT.. solution
see: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...learomizer-fixing-contact-pin-simple-way.html

This should end up working on a few other like clearo out there... having the same problem..

What a nice guy you are, OldSeer!!! I've been playing with that pin all day. Even tried the thread trick that's posted above. It's still a no go. Right now, I'm using the iClear 16 in question, on a twist and it's just fine. I guess I'll just have to keep rotating tanks to which ever battery they work on. I'm 6 months in and this has never happened before. UGH, so frustrated!!!!!!!
