I used to use a "vivi nova" with an "ego c twist" for MTL for years, 2.8ohm coil , 4,3v - 4.8V , liquid "Totally Wicked Red Label - sex on the beach 10mg
loved........

I decided to use something new, i bought a subtank mini + Evic supreme ....

Simply can not use, I Tried Everything
Throat hit too strong, harsh, cough etc ... i even tried with pure VG..... rba coil 0.5 to 3.3ohm, still too strong at any wattage

Than i bought a istick 30w + nautilus mini....

A little better but still cannot use, too strong hit, nothing compared to my old vivi nova

There is something new? smooth as the old vivi nova?

3 months now back in to cigarrets :(

What coil are you using in the nautilus mini and have you verified that are authentic? The 1.6 and 1.8 ohm vertical coils are smooth hitting to me at 8 to 10w. I vape high pg juice but have also Vaped 50/50 in them.

try 6mg in the Nautilus at about 10W....shouldn't be harsh...if it is something is wrong...make sure your coil is not burned, THAT will give you a harsh vape.
When inserting a new coil put some liquid drops in the top and at the little holes on the side of the coil....put the coil in, fill the tank and let it sit for a few minutes. after that take some dry puffs (take some puffs without firing). Now you can start vaping with minimal risc of burning the coil.....

you may just be a TRUE tootle puffer.

I was also unable to use the nautilus + istick 30watt and I know what I'm doing (been vaping 3+ years).

Your vivi nova is a single coil clearo. It consumes less battery power, burns thru way less ejuice and gives a lower vapor density.

I see you are using 2.8ohm coil , 4,3v - 4.8V.....that's a pretty high ohm coil, meaning you are "used to " a cooler vape. Not a hotter warm one.

It could well be that you like that kind of more gentle vape. I personally cannot handle a lot of vapor going down my throat, just want a good hit and one that is somewhat gentle.

How did you like the "box" format of the istick ? Do you like and use the full VV capability of your ego twist?

What direction were you facing when you were vaping? What was the humidity? Did you try humming Battle Hymn of the Republic while you vaped? Had you just eaten any cheese? A block of cheddar will block you up something fierce, ruining your vape and anything else you have planned for the rest of the night. Stick with individually wrapped slices of Kraft American.

Just use the vivi nova on your istick. Dial the watts way down, should be the same. Vivi's have a fairly tight airflow.

The Vivi Nova is still out there. Here is one example. I upgraded to them after vaping for a few months. Loved them, cartos and CE4's until I got my first rebuildable atty ;)

eGo-C style batteries are still out there too, along with a load of other batteries and mods that do low power.

Can't help with the TW juice. Best of luck with it all :)

I would suggest returning to what has worked for you. Some of us prefer a smoother, cooler vape and the Vision Vivi Nova can be set up very well for just that. It will work just fine on the Evic Supreme and give you the vape you like. There really isn't anything among newer varieties of toppers that give that type of vape, as the industry has moved toward high vapor volume and short hotter puffs. I prefer a smooth longer draw with the Nova myself and my throat feels better.

The good news is that they are available on clearance, as well as the 2.8 ohm heads, from a number of vendors, making them a great deal! Complete Vision Novas can be gotten for 99 cents and heads for under 50 cents, so you can stock up for years for very little.

No reason to go back to smokes unless you want to. I hope you find your way back to good vapes!
