What's in that Carto?

I'm pretty new to ecigs and I have to say that I'm enjoying them immensely but with that is also a small problem .....

I've been going through a ton of juice types in the last 2 weeks trying to find out what I like so now I've got a whole bunch of nondescript black cartomisers with a bunch of different flavors in them laying around. Trying to tell the difference between them can be frustrating and sometimes filled with unexpected surprises especialy when you accidentally refill something like cappuccino flavor with black currant. I don't advise anyone reading this to attempt that, just take my word for it it's bad.

In order to try and prevent a repeat of that incident, or something worse, I've come up with a labeling method that seems to work well enough for now. I take a small strip of heat shrink tubing and fit it to the carto. I can then write down the flavor with a sharpie. The heat shrink is easy to write on and removable when I'm ready to clean out the cart and change flavors.

I'm sure this has happened to a few of you as well and I'd like to hear anyone else's ideas on how to keep track of what's in their cartos.

Till now I've merely tried to convince myself that unexpected collisions on my taste buds are satisfying by likening the experience to which you refer as - Bertie Bott's Every Flavour Cartos.

Your method's a lot better.

BTW, I think I saw some colour coded cartos in 'nother thread.

Good advice!
I've also got myself a tackle like box with different small compartments where i will keep the different juices and cartos that has been filled with the corresponding juice.
Now if my gear could just get here..done all the preperation..the box..and found a labeling machine..prepared just like i was when i got my puppy...lol

I use different color cartos or carto end caps or drip tips.

I also tried little orthodontic colored rubber bands (fell off inside my PCC) little colored map dots (were OK), paint pen

*Has blackcurrant. Has cappuccino. Just tried. Agrees profusely.*

I use different nail polish colours on them. Just a little blob so my Scottish manlieness isn't too affected hah

Tried heat shrink some time back but found it didn't play well with my eGo cone. Solution was to not use the cone or use silver sharpie to mark the carto.

I use a dab of nail polish. But really, if you smell the carto you can pretty much tell what's in it.

Well, now I use clearomizers, which helps, but I still use the tiny colored rubber bands for little girls hair. Cheap and you get a bunch in a pack. Haven't had any break or fall of yet. Also, it's not permanent like painting or writing on the carto.

Little ziploc bags from the Walmart crafts section -- $1 for 100 2x3", $2 for 100 3x4", IIRC. One juice bottle + carto per baggie. Carry a handful of them, the day's working liquids, in a larger bag. By definition the ziploc with only the bottle = what I'm currently using.
