Micro coil and cotton.

I've just recently started using 100% cotton sterile gauze. Instead of threading it through the micro coil I roll it into a little ball and push it up against coil opposite side of the air hole. Then I squonk a bit of juice, make it moist and use a little pokey tool (toothpick or something) and push it under the coil and around the end of the coil opposite the juice hole.

For me this works really well even for Boba's.

The same piece of cotton that's been in both of my daily drivers for over 5 days :) cotton is all this kid uses :)

This coil has been on here for about a month :)

Have tried cotton (balls, rolls, organic) and cotton sterile gauze, but found its taste not good for me. Currently prefer silica in my micro coil. Also now trying SS mesh (400) thanks to Eddie Adam's picture tutorial. Liking it so far.

When using SS mesh, do you have to be concerned about the SS touching the sides of the atty? Will it short out? (this may be a stupid question but I've never used SS mesh before. Interested in it though....)

Right now I'm using some 3mm ekowool and 4 wraps of 28ga on my grand. I really like the heat and flavor of this setup. It's doing quite well. I have a micro coil with organic cotton ball wick on my mini 2.1. I like the organic cotton balls over any other cotton that I've tried. It doesn't give me that weird taste like the cotton yarn does.
