I started out at 18mg/ml and over the span of my vaping I've dropped and dropped and now find myself looking at 6mg/ml and feel ready to drop again.

I cut some juice 50:50 with VG and made a go with just that for a day. Nothing worth noting on the craving side of things, and to my surprise the flavor while muted was still there.

Today I tested a small number of juices I have steeping (all 6mg/ml) and I can taste the peppery note the nicotine has and while not at all intolerable the throat hit was clearly pronounced vs the previous days 3mg/ml juice.

It looks like I will be going with 3mg/ml from this point forward, and cutting the 6mg/ml juices I have on hand.

I think what surprised me the most was the total lack of withdraw symptoms and that I could clearly notice an additional 3mg/ml of nicotine.

Anyone care to share their complete drop to zero nicotine story, I'm interested in what that last leg is really like.

Early in my vaping career, on the advice of my doctor (nausea, dizziness, gut-ache), I dropped from 18 to 0. I really didn't have any trouble with it, except mood swings. However, mental fogginess and a lack of satisfaction pushed me to bump it back up to 2.4 to 3.2. I really don't want to go back to 0. My pre-mix base is all at 2.5, and when I mix another batch, it will remain there.

I also have a tobacco flavor which is up around nine for cravings/stress/anxiety. When I go to my stress-flavor, and need it, there is not much throat hit. When I do need it, it barely tingles.

I've been at zero-nic for almost 3 weeks now..

I miss it from time to time, especially after meals.. But otherwise, it hasn't been all that bad...

Started stepping down from 18mg in December..

I was at 3mg for a while, before making the final descent.. Went from 3 to zero over the course of a month, stretching out the last of the nic in 0.5 increments down (by mixing pre-made juice).. I was being a wimp, and like you, didn't really know what to expect down there at low & no levels..

During that month, and even now, I'm having some issues with sleeping habits.. Not tired at night, going to bed late, waking up in the middle of the night, waking up early (and going back to sleep), little tired during the day, etc.

That's been the only noticeable thing for me.. It has been getting gradually better, and from what I gather doesn't really happen to many others.. YMMV..

I still enjoy vaping.. I still also have the habit of inhale/exhale, hand-to-mouth, flavors, cloud visuals, etc.

No intentions of quitting vaping anytime soon.. Actually getting into DIY & looking to get another ProVari.. :D

Also active in fighting any & all FDA vaping regulations, especially so because what I do now has absolutely nothing to do with tobacco, and every single component of my vape gear & juice is completely out of their jurisdiction (though they are erroneously trying to say otherwise)...

And yes, I was getting head-rushes at 3mg with a simple clearo.. Believe it or not, was even getting them at 0.5mg.. Towards the end, I was starting to hate the effects of nicotine..

Finally, I look at the process of stepping down nic as similar to going to the bathroom: Some of it is voluntary, some of it is involuntary...

I haven't really experienced the mood swing thing since I started vaping, which my wife and family I'm sure are happy about. Any previous attempts to quit smoking always resulted in me being a huge jerk or so I'm told LOL.

Its almost become a personal challenge to get myself to zero, some of which I think is motivated by the fact that regulation seems to be at our front door, but also for the personal satisfaction that I can take back my life from the grip of this chemical.

I am certainly not against anybody who thinks otherwise, it is totally a personal thing to each and every person out there. Why others feel the need to save use from ourselves is quite beyond my comprehension. So if you aren't out to quit nicotine that's perfectly okay by me.

I've vaped 0 nic, I dropped from 18mg nic to 6mg nic in 6 months when I started vaping. I tried 0nic for about a month and didn't notice anything out of the ordinary. I just did it in case I had to drop the nic altogether and I now know I can do it.

I still vape 6mg nic because I believe it helps to stave off a possible alzheimers.

I do respect your reasoning for continued use of nicotine, that's a very reasonable use for it in my opinion.

I'd like to know more about that research if for nothing more than to keep tabs on it for the future.

There were some articles about a year ago in regard to Parkinson's disease that showed promise of nicotine therapy on animals. I haven't heard anything recently though, I think one of the reasons why BP doesn't want ecigs to be prevalent is because they have invested so much money in research of nicotine on these types of diseases and they don't want the competition from the delivery of nicotine with ecigs.

A few things I've noticed:

Flavors tend to pop more with 0mg juices.
Increase in concentration (Nitoctine has been known to help with concentration when used, but that concentration decreases when the nicotine leaves the system. Hence why some believe they "need" it). I used to cape 0mg when I had exams, it helped tremendously.
Overall feeling better - lack of headaches, and sometimes the nausea that nicotine would cause.

I've never been dependent on nicotine - I could go a few weeks without vaping, no problem. It's surprising what a little bit of nicotine can do to you. Still 10x better than smoking, but I encourage everyone to try vaping 0mg juice for 1 week straight. See how you feel.

I'm in the process of going to all 0. I'm using up the last of my 3 by mixing it with the 0, so my normal vape at this point is somewhat less than 3. I did buy a bottle of plain 3 to add to 0 if I need it to ease the transition. Which at this point doesn't need easing, as I can't tell the difference right now between straight 3 and straight 0. This could change as I attempt to go all 0.

I do prefer the taste of 0 and plan to be almost completely 0 by late summer. I'd probably be there now, but I don't want to just toss all my 3.

Vaping the last of my Fluffy Cake 3.

I dropped to ~3 mg around 3 months ago. It was tough and I could feel the edge in life coming back on. I dropped to 0 mg maybe 3 weeks ago. After 2 weeks, I was really edgy. The second weekend in to it, I drove to the gas station for a 12 mg bottle. Now I am switching off dripping 12mg and using 0 mg at night with a draw or two on the 12mg. I did try to supplement the 0 mg with some nic gum. That wasn't for me though.
