Hey guys,
just want to start by saying thanks!

I just got my Ego Twist and Vivi Nova and I am really enjoying it. Little top heavy but it makes a really good vape, not that I have anything to compare it too. :) I also just got him sampler pack from hhv, started with carnival. Pretty yummy.

So the question is whats next? Try something other then a tank? buy a second Battery? Try something like a silver bullet? I still have no idea what im doing...or what I am talking about.

Again thanks for the advice so far, cant wait to see what is next.

Thanks.

Nice to meet you RottenJeeves & welcome to ECF Forum! Looks like you're off to a good start. :thumb:
What's next? I'll share what could be next ;)

I'll give you the same recommendation I give everybody, because this is what worked for me...I'm a former 510 system user. (Well, I'm a former every vaping system available user.... :)

My vaping tastes have evolved radically over the past few years but I've found the "GO-GO" Starter Kit a good bet for the following reasons;

IF you're SICK of messin' with inconsistent Atomizers and all the of tasteless 510 & eGo vapors, then this system WILL please you.

* Cost - $59.95 for complete two eCig starter kit with (five) pre-filled Cartos or (three) pre-filled Go-Tanks: GO-GO KIT

* Batteries last up to two days between charges (depending upon how heavily you vape)

* Go-Carts - (Go-Carts hold 3ml of Nic Juice & Go-Tanks can hold up to 2 ml. (I vape all day on 2-3 ml) - The Carts are really no muss, no fuss but once you've acclimated to vaping you should really switch to the Go-Tanks (GO GO PREMIUM TANKS) as the vapor, flavor and throat hit are unparalleled. I really do insist that in time you do this :thumb:

Be sure to order the PRE-FILLED Go-Carts when you re-order. (Five pre-filled Cartos will come with your Kit but you'll need to specify the flavor and strength. I recommend 24 mg nic strength so you resist the urge to go back to analogs. I also recommend the flavor "EASY-BORO-USA Mix" as I personally believe this tastes most like regular Tobacco. I loved Menthol when I was smoker... hate it with vaping, so this natural Tobbacco flavor would most likely suit you. You can obtain that here: EASY LIQUID 10ML BOTTLES 24MG

Once you have a Go-go basic starter setup.... then you can Graduate to the 'Variable Voltage' Go-go FURY with the Fury Tanks. When you obtain this eCig... you'll have ARRIVED upon total Vaping Nirvana: GOGO FURY BATTERY

Wishing you the best of Luck.... hope you find your Vaping Nirvana as I did :vapor:

You need backups for your batteries, backups for your charger, backup heads, backup juice....then backups for your backups.

Unless you have a 24 hour store nearby that sells all of this stuff.

If you don't follow my recommendations then this is also VERY good advice!

Don't go all spendy without reading reviews or asking questions, I spent WAY to much money on crap I never even touch now. I do recommend a second battery or a mod like a Vamo or something in that price range. There are many good pv's out there that don't cost an arm and a leg, just always have a backup in case something goes south on you. Tanks are good, It's pretty much all I need. Check out the Kanger t3, I think you will like it, maybe even more than the vivi.

Blonde,

You recommend prefilled cartos for everyone?

The price is the same as the empty cartos so it's the reason I highly recommend it. ;)

... and no, not everyone. If people have a liquid they're absolutely in love with, I would recommend empty.

Make spreadsheet to follow closely what vaping is costing you. I had to do this to control my craving on buying juices and hw :)
Got 2 ego's, vamo kit in mail, couple of chargers and 4 batteries. Tons of juices... 4 vivi's, 1 mini, 1 RBA, coils and wicks and something else. Need to update my chart

TAKING THE NEXT VAPING STEP - YouTube

This is a video I recommend every newcomer watch. His name is GrimmGreen(Nick) and he does reviews for everything in our vaping world. He does an excellent job of explaining everything in a simple way without making you feel dumb...it's a very informative video and you'll learn a lot watching it.

This vaping "world" is huge and you'll be confused for a long time, but that's okay! Keep asking questions, keep watching reviews, keep reading ECF...you'll get it down sooner or later! Don't give up!

There are more "tanks" out there than just the vivi nova. I prefer carto tanks myself, some like more traditional clearomizers. The good news there are TONS of options out there for you to try.The bad news There are TONS of options out there for you to try.

Good luck in finding what works for you.

The only problem with ECF, is seeing loads of great kit and juices being recommended and then finding its not available in the UK

I'll add another recommendation for carto tanks.

I started on the eGo T and loved it until the atomizer got clogged. I went into a local vape store and got a carto tank on the recommendation of the owner. It works much better.

The replacement cartos are $2-4 and work very well.

You may also consider a different Variable Voltage device. Some juices taste better with higher voltage. There are many to choose from.

Typed on my mobile. Please excuse typos.

It sounds like you only have one battery?!

If this set-up seems ok for now, then I agree with Off Topic. Make sure you have backups. Your taste may change, or you may become dissatisfied with what you have in time. So, don't go crazy stocking up yet. But, make sure you have the basic backups. Then re-evaluate your needs and your stocks every couple of weeks to make sure you don't run low.

Over time, as you desire, you may experiment with other things. But, there's no rush unless you feel dissatisfied with what you already have.

What's wrong with ordering it from US? Not going to research UK prices, but my local shops put price tag way over item+shipping. If they even have anything worth buying, usually not.
And no good juices at all.

There's one shop that sells one 18350 battery for $24...

Cloud solution. I love it!

Thanks everyone for the advise so far. Looks like I have a lot to look at still. As far as the Kanger T3's go, dont I need an adapter to use them with my twist?

Nope, T3s use Ego threading so you don't need an adapter. You also don't need a thread sleeve since it flush with the threading.
