I purchased a Protank a couple of weeks ago and have cleaned them, and dry burned the coil, and can't seem to get rid of the dry metal taste, same with the T3S, I have used a few different coils, but still no luck. I've come to the conclusion that these aren't as good as I've been hearing. I use Bavarian cream 30%VG, 70%VG from Vapor bomb, and your basic ego battery. I think maybe that the Bottom coil tanks aren't for me.

I have had hell enjoying any of the bottom coil tanks except the protank. It just plain works for me. I have not had any of the problems you are having but I did go through a run of the gurgles and stopped using it for a bit. I have since figured out how to whip the excess juice out and since then I do not enjoy anything else.

I bought a pro tank II and have had nothing but problems with it. I keep getting " rubber " taste and the taste is muted. Tried removing one or all of the flavor wicks, changing to different heads, re-coiling the head and still " no cigar " . My vivi nova kicks its ... . Im wondering if it isnt all hype combined with terrible quality control from china. Theres definately a problem with head pressure that the vivi sometimes has where you have to unscrew the bottom on the pro tank ( top on the vivi) and it seems to release pressure or vacuum that gets built up and then it vapes better, but the rubber taste is a deal killer. I say its a conspiracy from china...lol.. seriously .. you cannot tell me the engineers didnt have these same issues and chose to leave it that way so they can come out with version 3,4,5,6 .. just to sucker us into buying more. Some company in america needs to step up to the plate even if it costs more and start producing this stuff. Im glad I bought a Provari even though I like my Vamo for work..will NEVER get rid of my U.S.A made Provari.

I have been using the Protank II for a couple weeks and I love it. At first I was not a big fan, but I removed one of the "flavor" wicks that Kanger adds and WOW what a difference. It produces better vapor than any product that I have used to this point, the Flavor I get using 1.8 ohm coils is better than what I had hoped for. I also had to replace the metal drip tip due to the fact I an sensitive to metallic tastes. But what I like most about it is that I can Vape my Favorite juice without destroying the tank like it does with my plastic tanks!!!

I'm having the same problem with my protank Mini.... it just mutes the flavor... I'll probably go back to my V3 Clearomizer, it just out preforms this Protank..... I wish I could figure it out, I do love the glass tank but not at the cost of this much flavor.

If anyone has suggestions I'd appreciate it

I love my protank 2s and mini protanks. I have noticed that the bottom coil heads don't really play well with juices that are 50%+ vg. 65/35 seems to be the sweet spot.

Removing one of the flavor wicks works in some cases. Also, any time you run a high vg juice, make sure you take shorter pulls at lower wattage. Clean/replace the heads if you gunk them up.
